Theme lunch - The whole of second year students are given a theme based on the occasion or festival going on currently & accordingly the whole restaurant & college interiors was to be decorated. Even the food menu had to be planned & made by students accordingly with the help of their Professors. The event would have the professors as guests & some special guests too were to be invited.Theme dinner/College fest - This is another version of theme lunch only advantage here is students become entrepreneurs as they set up their own foodstalls & sell food made by them. Its a typical college fest where student handle everything right from security to housekeeping to cultural programs. Student managers for every department is made & they make their team. Every student is given a job/task to follow like how it would be in a huge hotel banquet hall. Lunch - Everyday the mock restaurant has a set up of lunch restaurant made up. The professor appoints two section holder managers & one restaurant manager who take care of the servings to the customer. Students are also appointed as host & hostess who individually go to professors to invite them & narrate them the menu for the day.

Brands right from Taj to Sea Princess to even Rodas were there for the campus interviews. The figures for packages were discrete as every organisation offered different package for different departmental roles. In food & beverage minimum earnings could be Rs. 3000/-, Housekeeping would be Rs. 2,500/-, Front office Rs. 4500 & Kitchen (main kitchen) Rs. 4000/- & bakery kitchen Rs. 3500. (all figures are per month & approximate).

That year was an disaster only all over 60 % academic marks holders were placed well at least otherwise there were no assistance from college for others Placement officer was a jerk. Also on issue of major and minor project training he has never chosen correct place to get trained. They are just not professional.

All of the faculty except 2-3 were no where eligible to teach. That was a horrible exp. The syllabus was as per university rules as usual, but was never covered well by faculties most of the cases. faculties were just current passed out Few Btech degree holders were teaching mca that time too.

The campus life is excellent it always memorable each and every day.The college also arranged few national level seminars it enrich our knowledge the college also have lot of extra curricular activities like NSS ,NCC, Yoga , youth red cross, sports and etc.

The placement opportunity is less only because it is located in rural area but who studied in that college all are in very good position in reputed companies like flipkart, wipro, infosys, igate,capgmeni. Now a days they starts placement cell as well.

We used to our annual fest "spectrum" with interesting themes it used to be a three day fun which included different competitions between different colleges. Literary , sports, creative and cultural competitions -all kinds of activities were conducted right from antakshari to debates to basket ball to dance each and every part was fun in its own and the best part was the fashion show on the last day in which students come out with all their creativity moulded into one great design which has always been a treat to the eyes.

It consisted of two entrance tests firstly in a set of two CAT & GAT i.e Creative ability test and general ability test. I qualified for both and then had to give a situation test in which you are given a set of materials which you have to use and make one of the products asked. I always wanted to be a designer and has always been creative since school and NIFT is one of the best institutes I could choose to pursue my career.

Feasible for the students getting scholarships otherwise expensive sum of the best hostel facilities you will get with free WiFi excellent to enjoy life mess is very hygienic sufficient quantity and qualities of food is offered they are lots of pg's in city of jalandhar and phagwara some places here in outskirts of University Their are lots of option about rooms you will get accommodation according to the prices and location.

Campus life was really very good,from sports perspective we did not have to much facilities due to some terrain problem,cultural events were organised on regular basis,as far as gender ratio is concerned it was 65:35 boys: girls. People came from different religion and parts of the country,mainly from himachal,punjab,up and Delhi.

There are ample of job opportunities,many big companies visit our campus every year so from job prospective our college was really nice. All the big it giants visit our campus like cognizant, infosys, wipro and many more. Now a days even startups are coming to our college which are giving lucrative offers .

Very good campus. There is no Ragging. Everyone is cooperative. Teachers are helpful Nice canteen, Auditorium. College has its own Cricket Ground.

At that time big companies like, Wipro, CSC, HCL with some other companies came. I got placed in HCL Technologies. My stipend was 12000/- month.

I qualified UPSEE 2013 and took admission in JSS academy through it. I have got 3960 rank in general category. I was able to get any government.

Fee structure is more than normal average engg. college of UPTU . Its nearly about,110,000 per year plus hostal and security charge.

Decent to good companies come for campus. an average of 6 lacs package is there. This year is seeing new companies coming in.Marketing as well as other specializations have seen 100% placement last year. This year starting season saw one company with 8.5 package.

Exams are frequent,mid sems and semester end. A lot of presentations.It can get very hectic for weeks and then suddenly chilled out,especially in the 2nd year. Overall, PGDM students work harder and have more hectic schedules also with many extra curricul

There are lot of extra activities going on around. The fest which is in December. It's really fun. Because during the same time Poddar(college next to Ruia) also has their festival going on. And it's in December. Ruia college is known for its theatre work. If you want to try acting while studying. This is a good option. Many Marathi theatre artists are from this college.

Economics comes under arts. I just remember 2 boys in our whole class. So the boys ratio was really less in Arts. Many workshops were conducted. Really good ones. workshops like how to make a good resume, how to crack the interview. Corporate communications etc

Fees structure is feasible only for the people who can not afford will be given fees reimbursement with proper validation of parents income certificates. Hostel fees should be paid by the candidate. No reimbursements are provided for hostel fee. All the hostel facilities and mess food are very good.

Placements are very good in our college. App. 70% students get placed in some companies from our batch. We got companies like IBM,Infosys,TCS,NTT Data,Visrtusa,Thought Works,Tech Mahindra,CSC and some core companies as well. I don't have good idea on core companies as i am from IT background.

Our college excels in basketball and gender ratio is almost equal and ragging is nill robotic competitions and classes are held one in every 3 months the college also hosts a nation wide techno summit for various project innovations conferences and seminars.

The exam structure is quite tedious but it helps in development of ourselves academically lab classes are held 3 times a week each being a 2 or 3 hour session the lab work reflects mostly on the theory thus being very helpful the course curriculum is taug

It's a for year long course after which u would have to do a compulsory 6 months internship in medical trust hospital itself. It's under the curriculum of kerala University of health Science and it's a tough nut to Crack. There are 4 yearly exams one each year. Consists of about 5 papers a year. For which u got to qualify 3 yearly internal exams and also have to have an eighty percent attendance yearly.

The curriculum is tough really tough since it's following the K.U.H.S University and the teachers are not that inspiring although u might find ur academic career of being more secure her as the results might suggest when compared to other colleges offering the same course. Life's really uptight and not happening.

Faculty is new with little or no teaching experience. Course curriculum is as per bds syllabus of Pandit Bhagwat Dayal University of Health Sciences and Research, Rohtak and of course Dental Council OF india. And few teachers are ibye rested and really wonderful teachers fully cooperative and knowledge banks. While few are just time.passing coming and teaching and taking their monthly salaries. Research work is null or zero. It's not that pretigious dental college. It's a new college with possible great future. Director of our college is Women of Wonder. She is a dream mentor. So cooperative and everything don't have words ro define she is best of best. U only need to be hardworking and believe me she ll take you high up in the sky.

I took all (india pre medical test) I score 2 marks less than what needed for a gov seat so I contacted this college it was recently opened that time means I was about to be student of first batch. I chose dental coarse preferably coz private mbbs course was so expensive and also gov mbbs coarse was so difficult. So I chose bds In this college coz first of all it was new college so they were not demanding any donation or capitation fees and also college was new and with latest equipments and all. Counselling was held during admission and counselling was 12th percentage wise.

There are a lot of events celebrated including all the festivals of india. Every student and faculty contributes to it whether it is diwali, id, ugadi, onam. They will celebrate with full spirit and have fun. Even there will be cultural nights, sports festivals will be there. Inter-college and inter hostel festivals will be there. Every week there will be movie session for refreshment and enjoyment.

Campus life is really awesome. There is museum and a lot of places to play. You need not attend class compulsorily but you need to clear exam which is again a big task. Interesting fact is that they will be conducting open book and close book exams. Gender ratio is fine and they won't care about that. Main thing is they really work hard and they enjoy every moment of the life.

There are less co curricular activities as college is more study oriented but we have teams of football volleyball etc .We have a sports meet and now we jave a basketball court and a tennis court as well we have a room for playing chess and table tennis but they are opened in the sports fest only.

Curriculum is a bit difficult but the staf is good and teach us accordingly. There are somewho are not good t teaching but then thee are some professor. Who are pretty good but at last we have to study ourselves and do most of the work ourselves and learn through ourselves.

I entered this college in 2005,I did reasonably good in my RPET( Rajasthan pre engineering test) Rank - 6000 (approx),Before counselling i visited Poornima college and get interacted with Physics lecturer. He seems to be a reasonable logical man he was very much convinced by my physics in depth knowledge. He insisted me to take Management seat and no extra cost. So this is how my journey started I later got Mechanical engineering in this college but as i was promised they offered me Computer science.

Gender ratio varies according to your stream,In our branch higher girl ratio was maintained. Mechanical has lowest girl boy ratio. Extracurricular activities are quite impressive and Poornima college is often rated high against their counterparts. They have some great technical minds,sports and debaters in our campus that time. I hope the legacy still continues.

I wrote M-CET exam conducted by government of andhra pradesh and i got 2000 rank .I get lot of colleges for that rank but i choose geethanjali college because it is good college for CSE i come to know this by my brother he is super senior to me he got job in TCS in the campus that's why i choose that college .

We two types of placements one is on campus it is only for our college students and on campus placements other college students also can participate on this job fair in on campus 32 students are sleeted from my class including me to various campanies like cognigent, cap gemini, tcs, vipro etc.

Gender ratio was not an issue at any time. Students get selected as per their ranks and scores not as per gender. Campus life was great literally. We did parties every third weekend wherever possible as per our budget. Cultural society is quiet good. College provides buses and any other facilities which it can give. Every year faculties from IITs or NITs come here to conduct 10-12 days of workshop of robotics. Inter college sports are also done here every year. No discrimination are there on any basis - gender, religion, race etc.

As I already said, we were the first batch here; so no seniors were there. But our class mates were good. Some are still in touch with me. Some were gone abroad for higher studies, some are working in private sectors. But our juniors were very good and helpful. They gave respect every time, infact outside the campus whenever we were in need, they helped in their own way.

They do not provide internship facility and if you want you have to search for it personally. In our EE batch placement was not very good. Out of 70 students, only 40 students got good placement in companies like Tata chemicals, Godrej, Gillanders etc. But if you opt of IT department, you will have very good chances of placement in companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and capgemini etc.

The course was strictly adhered to WBUT syllabus. There were too many unit tests and viva exams. Even the marks of those exam has great importance in deciding your grade in semester exams. Some of the faculties have very good technical knowledge but some of them lacks very basic domain knowledge.
