I entered this college in 2005,I did reasonably good in my RPET( Rajasthan pre engineering test) Rank - 6000 (approx),Before counselling i visited Poornima college and get interacted with Physics lecturer. He seems to be a reasonable logical man he was very much convinced by my physics in depth knowledge. He insisted me to take Management seat and no extra cost. So this is how my journey started I later got Mechanical engineering in this college but as i was promised they offered me Computer science.

Gender ratio varies according to your stream,In our branch higher girl ratio was maintained. Mechanical has lowest girl boy ratio. Extracurricular activities are quite impressive and Poornima college is often rated high against their counterparts. They have some great technical minds,sports and debaters in our campus that time. I hope the legacy still continues.

I wrote M-CET exam conducted by government of andhra pradesh and i got 2000 rank .I get lot of colleges for that rank but i choose geethanjali college because it is good college for CSE i come to know this by my brother he is super senior to me he got job in TCS in the campus that's why i choose that college .

We two types of placements one is on campus it is only for our college students and on campus placements other college students also can participate on this job fair in on campus 32 students are sleeted from my class including me to various campanies like cognigent, cap gemini, tcs, vipro etc.

Gender ratio was not an issue at any time. Students get selected as per their ranks and scores not as per gender. Campus life was great literally. We did parties every third weekend wherever possible as per our budget. Cultural society is quiet good. College provides buses and any other facilities which it can give. Every year faculties from IITs or NITs come here to conduct 10-12 days of workshop of robotics. Inter college sports are also done here every year. No discrimination are there on any basis - gender, religion, race etc.

As I already said, we were the first batch here; so no seniors were there. But our class mates were good. Some are still in touch with me. Some were gone abroad for higher studies, some are working in private sectors. But our juniors were very good and helpful. They gave respect every time, infact outside the campus whenever we were in need, they helped in their own way.

They do not provide internship facility and if you want you have to search for it personally. In our EE batch placement was not very good. Out of 70 students, only 40 students got good placement in companies like Tata chemicals, Godrej, Gillanders etc. But if you opt of IT department, you will have very good chances of placement in companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and capgemini etc.

The course was strictly adhered to WBUT syllabus. There were too many unit tests and viva exams. Even the marks of those exam has great importance in deciding your grade in semester exams. Some of the faculties have very good technical knowledge but some of them lacks very basic domain knowledge.

At last year of this course,college arranged placement campus. Many companies was came in this campus and many students got placed in. Who those not got placement in that all campus placements they also got their job with help of college alumni students and also with the help of college professor and alumni professor.

Every year many festival celebrate in college. All navaratri college arrange navaratri celebration in college. All students got part in traditional wearing. Last day of this festival college arranged dinner party for all students. Other festivals like Diwali also celebrated very happy in college.

Placements are not so high. Among all eligibles 50%-60% are placed with a low salary, there are very few who are placed with good salary (u can say satisfied)not many job opportunities currently but every year the number of companies coming to interview you is increasing with better packages.

College provides internship for some of the branches. There are name famous companies who visit for internship. All those are jaipur based firms and start ups which take you for 3 or 4 months. And they don't pay you for anything. You have to bear all your expenses while at intenship.

Gender ratio of the college is 75-25. College has a good environment for studies it also has labs which are appropriate according to modern needs. College organises many seminars on latest technologies like java, Android .Net so that student can meet with the demands of company before placement . And also organises Annual function for three days every year. It also organises sports day which lasts for five days.

College has a good repution for placement. about 60 % student get placed every year in some reputed company. Student got placement in companies like TCS, WIPRO,INFOSYS,RETAILON, TECH MAHINDRA. This year students got placed in tcs with a package of 3.4lac and retailon at the package of 4 lac.

Our college is tied up with 10 different companies of various sectors like IT,MECHANICAL,E-COMMERCE etc.overall placement of last year batch passout is 70%. Which is not quiet bad. Because of being a member of lakshmi narain goup its have an advantage for inviting companies in own campus or sending own students to any lnct group colleges for take part in placement processes.

Various college festivals are organised every year.some of them are:-1,annual function 2.techfest3.national service sceme tour 4.NeN 5. Robotics they all are conducte on a big level. Where at most 2500 students attended these functions. All colleges students are invited through passes. Various companies give sponsorship for these functions.

The course is best it given over all practices for theory as well as practical.

I have given IIT JEE but i have got admission through management quota.

Only fresher's welcome party get arrange every year and saraswatti pujo organised every year and i am studying about 2 year i have never seen any technical cultural or management festival got organised sad thing but in our dept. we organize a little cultural event in teacher's day every year we decorate the whole dept. including lab invite sirs and madams our friend perform some there curricular activities and in the end a short food party get arrange

There is no hostel facility because this college is new and it is also small. But there some new building developing in beside of the college canteen hope there will be some thing new will happen on those buildings as because all students are local students maybe there is no need of hostel rooms students come to college by train cycle bikes or their private cars. If there some new hostel system get developed it will be perfect.

There are numbers of labs which are used for theory knowledge sports club and dental college all extra caricular activities are supported by faculties. As mentioned karandak is one of the biggest festival of all. We also have concerts which are performed by international singer before karandak . There are some days celebration like teachers day, saree day back to school days and soo many others too.

One of the most famous sinhgad festival is KARANDAK. It is 10 day festival in three parts. At first sports,second is neon comprising of dance,musical band,fashion show,songs, group and individuals and third is techtonic based on technical part among all the department. The competition is held in our college where participants are from different colleges in pune as well as our college too.

I Thought VVP has best campus in saurashtra university it has huge library with lots off books free Internet services free wifi college gives laptops so every students surf internet in it lab quality is good it has all Kits for microprocessor, microcontroller and communication kits it has cro and dso also computer software are mainly all are there which is used for studies it has good playground areas and for indoor games facilities also engder ratio is around 70:30 for male and female no politics involved in it. It has overall 38000 per year fees in 2007 so economy wise it is not good for medium range families students.

This college has no hostel. So there is no mess food also but u can find nearly some private hostels and pgs which are much effort able for students some mess are very well gives reasonable price lunch and dinner only 40rs is for food per plates it was atound 15km far from Rajkot city so college has no college bus but it has citu bus are available in every 30 minutes and also suttle auto are available easy to go back city it has nearly MTV hottel so students can easily hangout there.

Campus life is good but the seniors will take ragging as well and if you complain it to the teachers they will support the seniors. So the signed documents for anti-ragging will have no value in this college.So beware. In this college girls are very few in number as compared to the boys.There are very few occasion happens here that is annual sports ,annual functions. Campus have one workshops.Campus is also having gym for total fitness and also separated for girls and boys. Campus have beautiful trees and canteen with different types of fast foods.

No companies came.They told us that they will provide some companies in the month of november 2015.We saw that previously our seniors got jobs with 10k-15k salary not much more then that in private companies with no security of the jobs.Many of them were fake.Lets hope for the best. Job opprtunities is quite poor in this college.In the year 2013 many companies came that was the heightest available companies recruitement ever done in our college that is 25.

The gender ratio is prett stable in our class of 120 students aroung 45 are girls there are comparitive to other states a higher number of girls and also a large no of girls are placed during placement sessions. The college life is exciting and eventfull we have regular parties in hostel every other month and small functions and social gatherings once or twice a semester.

We have tech fests called insignia every year we have an annual sports meet,media fest and the participation from in and around colleges is pretty huge. The fests are not large scale i'd rate it as medium scale. The fests require lots of sponsership and financing which is arranged by the students and the student PR teams.

Labs,sports are very standard and high quilfied equipment with genuion com, Also english classes are very good in debates and teaching.

Senior Stuents are very good and helping nature. They were guided student as right area. Also good teching habits.

I took mat and cat both but didnt scored much. I got 78 %ile in cat so didnt had too many options. AIMT was near to meerut as i was residing there with my family so it became one reason. Second fee structure was economical comparing other colleges. And third "college is not important if you are good then you can compete anyone and can get a good job" that was my philosophy thay time.

According to the program structure and later outcome fees is too expensive.I paid apx 7 lac for two year program including stay and food.Its better to hold that money in fixed Deposit and work for two year and after two year u will have work experience and money with interest to start your own venture.

The cipla,ranbaxy, zydus and lots of companies are invites to students foe placemets etc. They provide special internship every year to student for theis great performance .

I find my course structure quite comprehensive when it comes to covering several recondite and important topics. I find my faculty quite up to the mark. But sometimes I find few teachers showering their personal life frustrations instead of knowledge, I mean how can a teacher forget that she is a teacher and her main focus should not be just be coming and teaching just for the heck of completing syllabus, but should be making sure that each and every student in the class absorb what she intends to teach.

When it comes to college life, it is quite dependent on how active we are at a student level.Its in our hands what we make out of our college life. There are students who say, they had the best time of their lives in college, and there are students also, for whom even going college seem to be monotonous. I find our cultural societies capable enough to recognize and motivate the diversified talents of students.

The college alumni is very helpful and cooperative. All seniors are full of enthuaiasm and always keep updating us about the available opportunities. They always keep encouraging us to take new activities and undertake various challenging tasks ourselves only. One thing i will remember always. I was once talking to my senior about placements in college he told me that one should always remember that placements are always personality driven. No will ever think about your specialisation i.e. marketing, finance or HR

The college have great exposure towards the extra cocurricular activities. There are various societies be it debsoc, poetry,dance, dramatics, music, arts etc. Within the BMS dept. itself there are various cells be it marketing, finance, hr, web development, placement etc.

Our medical college and hospital also organized many types of programmes and activities.Atfirst in january our college organized inter-college cricket tournament.Around kolkata there are 8 teams are perticipated in this tournament.Then our college organized Football tournament in rainy and also fasion show, fest, and many others cultural programmes in our college.Many other medical colleges have organized fest but our college fest is more than better than any other colleges.We all participate in our college fest ans enjoy it with all.

In our college the ratio between girls and boys are 2:1. Extracurricullum activities are there in our college. Workshops are very good furnished in our college Because our college provide well, clean and clear education facilities. No politics are available in our college. Different religion students are here but all are equal and no other students given extra priority. Our labs and labs assitants are very good. out all teachers are well behaved.
