The college hosts the annual festival called ACHARYA HABBA, it's one of the biggest college festival in the city. It happens around March and April month, it gose on for a month with variety of cultural and sports event every day. The campus has a big library with a huge variety of books and each block has its own individual library for specific course.

There is no such fest for btech as of 2024 since they started btech recently but fests in the college are conducted by other departments too for example Management, Law etc, and btech students can also take part in these tests There is plenty of books and journals available in the library with access to multiple online collaborations with renowned organizations like IEEE The facilities in the classroom are top notch and among the best you can get in any of the college of IPU, centralised AC(with insane cooling), projectors in each and every classrom etc The campus size is small so college doesn't offer many inhouse sports facilities, but if you join the team you can practice in stadium provided by the college itself, games like kabaddi, badminton, 8ball pool etc are there with in the campus There are many clubs available within the college like tech clubs, sustainability club and E-CELL ( which is doing really great work)

The curriculum here got updated recently for the batch of 2023 and there were some really great improvements specifically when it comes to branches related to IT and its specializations, they have removed many subjects which are not related to the core field Exams are not that difficult in general, if you study a week before end-semester exams, you will easily get an 8 CGPA

I was very passionate about learning mathematics so, I opted for Bsc mathematics in this university but I was disappointed after getting this college because here main focus of teachers are on theoretical knowledge not on real world applications. So, I found the methodology of teaching very traditional. A large scale improvement is needed so that , students get more opportunities for their future not just a degree . Exams are conducted on the yearly basis and the difficulty level of exam were moderate.

There is no any technical festivals organised by our college . Book and journals are available in our college that may be related to our curriculum or may be related to life improvement books There is big playground in our college where there is facility of different sports like cricket, badminton etc. These facilities may not be available in all college because it depends on which college you are getting .

For the batch 2022-2026 we have the fees structure of 270000 per yr but for the academic year 2023-2027 the fees was increased after getting NAAC A++ accreditation by 20%.The campus provide a scholarship for merit students who scored above 75%

Our college has the biggest library in South Kolkata with lots of books , we can access them any time, free of cost. Digital class rooms, language laboratory, with speaker and mics, projectors, and other technological equipment makes our class rooms more advance. Two sports events always happen every year in our college where we can participate against of other colleges. There are blood donation camp, food and colths distribution happens in winters. Gardening, rallys are some important activities in college. There are lots of clubs in college on the basis of students interest like tech club xplorica, sports club, drama club, film club, gaming club, coding club etc. This are very helpful for students they can show their opinions in any topic they like, they can continue their passion in acting or gaming etc.

Tution fees increases every one or two years with a rate of 5-10 percent. At this time tution fees is 406000.Its not too much. You have to pay the fees in semester wise,every year in june and in december are the timings of payment.if we get late,there is a fine.There are no extra hidden charges, only you have to pay 1200 rs before every semester. If Someone can't pay semester fees they can do it in emi options, otherwise we can take loans provided by college verified banks. We can get svmcm scholarship after getting 60 percent in our exams and can recive an amount of 60000 rs. College provides internships in 3rd year and stipend of 10-15000 rs. We can gain experience from internships and also earn stipends. Those students who becomes toppers they also get awarded with cash rewards.

I chose computer science as my degree course I was expecting that I would learn some coding language. 4 years and they didn't teach us a coding language Exams were taken very lightly and mostly were unscheduled Nothing was going according to the planned timings

The national level annual techno-cultural fest of the college is named as 'Tiara' and is held in the month of May every year. Also there is a traditional fest called 'Milan' which is held in the month of December every year. The college library offers a wide range of books and journals. They are arranged well in racks and we can access them by enquiring with the librarian or searching it through the library software. The library is now being digitalized. In each classroom, there is a projector and a laptop which the lecturers can use to display ppt of the modules. The college gives more importance to the sports and extra-curricular activities. The college participated in almost all types of sports and there is proper equipments and facility for it. Coming to extra curricular activities, there are many student-run technical clubs in the college such as aero club, robotics club, racing clubs, etc. These clubs participate in major events that happen across India.

The tuition fee remains the same as agreed upon while joining the college. Although there might be small hikes and dips in the tuition due to improvement in teaching technology. And there is an exam fees of Rs. 2000 to be paid before each sem exam. Since I got a seat in the college through KCET entrance exam, the tution fees that I have to pay is Rs. 90000. And there is a fee of Rs. 15000 for the idea lab. Also Rs.4000 per year to be paid as exam fees. Hence the total fees for me will come upto Rs. 109000. But if admission is through management quota, the annual fees will range between 3 to 4 lakhs. There is a scholarship offered by the state government annualy to the deserving students. Also there's a minority scholarship for the minority students. I have taken an internship at Glowtouch Technologies Pvt LTD as a web development intern. There was no stipend as such. Our placement season is yet to start.
