I chose Computer science and engineering course as I have interest in softwares and I want to work in IT sector.also there is higher placement ratio as compared to any other course that is also a reason for choosing this course. There are 2 midsems in each semester along with an endsem.the difficulty of examination in moderate.
There are 67 students in a class.Every class has 2 mentors who help the students regarding any type of problem. Teachers are very experienced and each teacher has experience of approximately 10 years or more.Teachers are easily approachable. They can also clear doubts on phone via WhatsApp etc.
After 3rd year you are free to participate in external internships. Free internships are provided over here. Companies are listed in Chitkara's official ID. DSA projects, AI projects and the rest depending on your field and interest. Whichever company suits your interest will select you. Believe in yourself and master one skill. And definitely, you will be selected.
The semester fee is different according to the course you purchase and it is fixed throughout the semesters but hostel fees kept on increasing I think Chitkara has very Affordable fees in comparison with other universities. Rest it can totally depend on each individual. They even accept external scholarships. But I dont think so they themselves provide scholarships.
The course curriculum is not upto date for today required field it is same like other colleges. The semester exam happen at regular interval but my mid semester got delayed due to the college events . I think colleges should focus more on industrial standard not on theory based curriculum which of no use.
While I am in first year so I cannot now about tuition hikes but according to some sources it hikes normally. My complete cost of education will be around 820000. There are many scholarship provided by the college for different category students. No I have not done anything related to campus employment.
Numerous Annual Fests such as Ramailo Sukhim, Cultural Community Meets, Awareness Programs, and Festival celebrations are vibrantly commemorated and celebrated in the University. Plenty of online journals and stars of books are available in the library. Every student is provided access to the same. Classrooms are equipped with advanced technologies, important facilities and multipurpose laboratories along with multitasking staff. Annual Sports fests are also organized once every year. Various socio-cultural groups such as Eco-club, social clubs, drama clubs, dance clubs, cultural clubs, Bengali society, Assamese society, etc are run by the students.
The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20, every student gets equal treatment from all the faculties. Highly experienced faculties use innovative and up-to-date approaches in their teaching methods. Faculties try to provide a competitive and interactive surrounding by introducing various assignments and activities. Students can freely interact with their professors on any open day and at any time. Students are allowed to feel free and comfortable to come up to their professors with any doubts or ideas.
The annual festival of my college is called Bansal utsav and there are many technical fest organised in my college all types of books you can found in the library for like for GATE exam for any exam you got the book in library there are three types of lap first is language lab second is communication lab and third is a computer lab they are all very good but the classrooms was not digitalised
The fees structure for electrical and electronics branch age 45000 per year and there are many reservation quota also running in my colleges and if you given the exam then you and you go a good percentile then you also got some scholarship. If you are belong to St category then the fees is only 10000 per year for electrical and electronics brand
The college life is not too exciting if you are not part of any society since college does not even organise freshers. There is just one annual fest Zealicon for 4 days involving DJ nights on the last day(only intresting thing). The fest is generally organised in april. However clubs are fun. Many books are available in the library that can be issued for 14 days however novels are not there(sad for readers like me). The college provides some course books for the entire semester which have to be returned before due date otherwise fine is charged. Journals are provided in the library. The library is equipped with AC. The classrooms are not too good. 3 people have to sit on a single desk when the entire class is present. No facility of AC. No projectors. Teachers teach on blackboards. No charging points are provided in the classrooms. Sports facility of college is not very good. i dont understand where all the fund goes.you have to pay for every thing on your own and within the team.
The placement of JSS was pretty well in past making it the second bestprivate university of Aktu but right now sice recession is going on the placements have shown downfall. However still many students are placed on the package of 4-5 lakhs. The students can sit in placements from their last year ie,7th semester.Other than that they can apply for internships outside the campus JSS is very cooperative in that. Many companies like TATA,NEWGEN have visited the college even amazon has been to jss and took a student on the package of 24 lakhs. The highest package has been 62 lakhs offcampus and 24 lakhs on campus. The percentage of student getting placed recently has been reduced due to recurssion. I plan on doing GATE after this degree.
I had diploma in electrical and electronics engineering 3 years of experience. If your friend circle is good you will enjoy the college and the other stuff and if not it is useless so better this college is lack of sports and other cultural activities
The fees vary based on the entrance test you attempted if you get polycet then the fee is 6900/ if you go through management it is 25000 and better you should write polycet. The scholarship is provided by the government based on the polycet score
The course curriculum is totally good. Teachers give education with real world examples while studying. So, this is normal that they will take a serious exam and it is difficult. There is don't need to correction of this course.
This college has good faculty members. They are very cooperative and humble with students. The student and faculty ratio is 1:50 that's is good for this type of semi private colleges and best thing is teachers are well educated.
1. Annual fest are organised not only on delhi university as whole but also in different colleges. Like below are the few examples of fest a- Mecca- Hindu College- condicted in month of April b- Crossroads- SRCC c- Mosaic - Ramjas College d- Renaissance and Adhimulya - Kirorimal College e- Rainbow Festival - Atma ram sanatan dharma College etc. 2. Majorly all the books of all subjects are available in the library of department if not then you may ask for that in Central Library and if there also you didn't got then you may have access to e library. and there you may access any book. 3. There is WIFI present in overall university campus sometimes it won't work but yes majority of time you can access. 4. there is an official email ID provided by the College to students so that they may access to material online and for other reason also. 5. There are Sport society in merely every College which used to organise events related to sports. I'm also executive member of Sports Society CampusLawCentre
1. I wish to become a lawyer so for that I must have to pursue law and I have completed my graduation so I don't want to waste my time on integrated LLB Programe so I took decision to do LLB. 2. LLB is a professional course which one may choose to become Judge, Lawyer, Corporate Lawyer, Legal Advisor, etc. Basically for all the matter related to legal affairs 3. There is a improvement which I'll suggest that including few more subjects related to Corporate law because after pursuing LLB one have to do LLM to go for Corporate which makes the process little bit more lengthy. 4. Semester exams held with a gap of 6 month. In Starting 4 Semster there are 5 papers of 100 marks and in last 2 Semester there are 6 paper of 100 marks. Generally for promotion to another year one must pass in 5 paper out of 10 in 1st year and 2nd year respectively. and to obtain degree student must pass 30 subjects in overall course.
The course curriculum is maximum equal to iit level Some what difficult but too interesting topics and imp subject had been designed by the particular heads. Exams are conducted too strict and moderate level of question paper.
The all professors are too experienced upto 35 years and all are PhD holders They are most interactive with the students We can ask any doubts about subject freely without any hesitation Excellent coordination from lecturers
the nep has reformed much of the curriculum and i particularly like the introduction of dse papers. i picked literature and cinema for one semester and it was the best paper i could have ever taken. the core papers are usually lovely. the introduction of vac, sec and aec papers has made the curriculum feel more fussy. they are 2 credit papers but end up requiring the same level of attention and effort as the 4 credit core papers.
du generally has a fest season from around march to april. this is the period during which most colleges of du hold their annual fests. they have different names. range and accessibility of books is overall pretty good in libraries across du. the classrooms all have a laptop and a projector. sports activities include basketball, softball, tennis etc to my knowledge. student run societies are integral to college life in du.
There is less reference for learning the and know about the details about a specific course, there are no core companies to visit for interviews, there is decent level for real world applications. The areas for improvements in the course curriculum is Basic fundamentals are important. The exam level is not so bade and it is so easy to get pass in every exam. Medium level.
There are placements of my college is so better but not for non-CSE students, plaements are only for CSE students, there are so much packages to the students and getting placement is so tough and for more cgpa students get better offer and elgibility to placements.
The faculty does not take anything seriously most of the time teachers cancel the class on the last minute . They prefer hanging out in the collegerather than going to the class and teaching . They do not have proper knowledge of their own subject
The internship opportunities are less compared to other colleges and stipend available is not good I would have preferred to look for internships outside the college as it would be much better than provided in college
The decision to take this course is my interest in coding and making a good career and as soon as I got this college I started Bulding it with good mentorship. Teaching methods are good but some more interesting events and practical related to this course could give a boost to learning. The only thing which is a huge trouble is timing of exams . The exam schedule of this college is always out of track and always they held them late so the results are also late and so the session which is a massive problem that needs to be solved though the difficulty level is moderate.
There are rarely any annual or technical festival in the college. Library contains books and journals which are sufficient for the course . Sports fest are held every year in which inter branch and inter college both categories takes place including indoor games ,tech talks and seminars etc. There are clubs related to dance, music, art and craft, tech, coding, business etc run by students. social media pages and groups which helps to interact and indulge students more in college activities.
TIET offers a lot of scholorships which cuts your tuition fees by half or one-fourth. Though they impose conditions on them like maintaining a a 8+ CGPA in all semester and a moral code of conduct. Still the total cost of education here considering all factors is much higher than other colleges which is a big negative. With the increasing intake every year difficulty to grab them will increase further more.
For someone like me who loves to venture out and party hard I dont feel like TIET is for that. Life her is very peacfuly inside and outisde the campus. TIET has one fo the best library in the country (Check up on google for pics ). All major clubs are presents in thapar ranging from small art and craft clubs to big ones backed by google and microsoft.
After getting the admission in the college, the classes will start within 2 weeks and the time table will be announced by respective departments accordingly. The teaching faculties working here are well educated with PhD or masters in there specific field. They interact with students in a very good manner. I felt very happy by this college.
The college conducts many cultural events during the government and education related holidays for creating awareness about the speciality of that day. College announces college day every year which is one of the biggest fest in the college.
Faculty-to-student is 10/5 and it highly impact student learning experience in both good and bad way. Some faculty are very good but some are not good as we cannot understand what they taught us. we can interact with teacher in an easy manner and they also solve our queries.
Course Curriculam is not good because we learn many those subjects which do not hane any means during placememts or in anything course curriculum should be changed and language subject should came in place of theory subjects
The course was designed according to aicte and the subjects were more of research based More over in my views it prepared student for gate and higher education but for placements extra subjects were also taught.Exams were conducted as per schedule
The faculty student ratio is about 1:60.It is a good experience for the students as the faculty were highly qualified and most of them were doing research the students often interactee with faculty in case if they have to query something
The maintained faculty Student ratio in average is 1 : 75 and sometimes it gets a bit hard to understand the curriculum because of the less attention which is natural . It's humanly not possible to give equal attention to all the students for a single faculty member . But they try hard to give us a proper teaching to be honest . Faculties do use a lot of PPTs to make the learning easier . We can approach teachers whenever needed and they try to help us out in every possible way not gonna lie .
The tuition fees are quite high comparatively and it increases every year almost . So it's difficult for everyone to provide such fees. The complete course fees including all the above mentioned is almost 4.2 lacs. Scholarships are not provided from the college ... but you can surely avail the education loans and Govt / Private scholarships. Campus employment is availabe .
Well mathematics is used in almost every engineering branch, so it was an easy option for me. The laboratories and workshops are well maintained and are updated on regular basis. And most of the courses have a lab assigned to it which weigh 1 credit. This help you fetch marks and you enjoy the practicals too. Some courses feel useless like Gen biology. I guess they should be optional. Teaching methodology is fine I guess except the exit tests. Difficulty level of exams are at par of what is taught in class so that's not an issue.
Faculty to student ratio is pretty nice here. If you really want to learn, I promise every professor here will try their best to help you. Almost all the faculties have a Phd from either top institues of India or of abroad. I am telling you, don't doubt the faculties of bits, they know what they're talking about. For the first month, everybody studies but after that, nobody gives a damn. So most of the times profs are available. You can mail them and ask for their time. And yes, they will respond.
