The curriculum of IIM Vizag is designed in such a manner that it provides you with knowledge related to industrial aspects and also with overall exposure to the corporate world. Subjects like managerial accounting help you understand the basics of the finance world and then subjects like managerial marketing and operations management give you an idea about those respective domains. I was unaware of the finance world since I was from an engineering background, so these subjects helped me to gain knowledge. Apart from this, many generic subjects give you a generic and wholesome knowledge about all the aspects of Management, in the first year of an MBA, and based on your preference you can choose your electives as majors and minors in the domain you want to pursue your career. The exam pattern consists of quizzes, midterms, and endterms, each having weightage along with graded assignments and projects. With discussions on the business scenario, the exams are also conducted on similar line

IIM Visakhapatnam is known for its studies and enjoyment, so there are a lot of annual fests take place by different clubs and committees, namely Hridaya(from the Hr club), Vriddhi( from the business cluster), Sanshrey( from the alumni committee) and Samarambh- annual fest of IIM Visakhapatnam ( from the cultural cluster). The main library of IIMV is still under construction and thus there is a temporary library which has a large set of books related to your interest, also our library has a database of almost all the companies which provides us the real and detailed data of all the firm with there permission and government approval, which is helpful in our learnings. The classrooms are state-of-the-art and digitally equipped with smart audio and visual setup, the classrooms are based on the Harward Business School model and are very hi-tech. For sports, our college has separate facilities for cricket, football, and track events as well for indoor sports and a very large gymnasium.

The college offers excellent scope for building holisitic and soft skills, as it has various clubs such as the sports club & entrepnuership club. The campus is vibrant with students coming from diverse backgrounds, which helps in gaining exposure. Also, there are year round activities planned such as skill based workshops, competitions such as cultural competitions, debate competitions, etc. Furthermore, there are industrial visits and guest lecutres as well.

The course is well planned as there are around 5-6 subjects in each semesters which looks to extensively cover various domains of commerce such as accountacy, finance, taxation, marketing & management. However, certain aspects in the subjects can be updated, but overall I am satisified with the course structure as it is something whihc is in line with my goal of building a career in academia.

Internship opportunities are available in field like NSS , NGO - Arambh which provides food and clothes for needy . Fees are generally higher for science students as compared to arts and commerce field. If Fees could be reduced it would be more better because it is already a government funded institution. Placement opportunities are not that good but the opportunities for getting work experience is good like various Ngos and other societies are there for this. Teachers re also very supportive and Cute ????. They help you in your academic growth and various other helps are provided

There are multiple scholarship for students and the admin section is very helpful regarding scholarship for students. And Ravenshaw University is the only govt University which provides decent placement for all the students.

And you will not believe there are 119 students in ME but the number of jobs offered was 116 quite big number. The tution fee is mandatory for everyone and is hiked every year at feasible rates, tution is almost at par with any other government enginnering college. DTU does provides schloarship on means basis though scholarship is delayed and takes a lot of time to process which would definitely be a downside. The financial aid is offered on tution and is based upon income needs, tution is reimbursed for different amounts like 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% on basis of every kid. The whole cost to complete the education here would be anywhere around 10-12 lakhs and is depended upon if you choose to take the hostel or no.

As the scope of computer science is too much as of now so I wanted cse department form the starting only. Every thing is computerized so one must be knowing about this field ; this was the reason to choose this particular field and even I am interested in this subject. As of 1st year overall subjects are taught not specifically computer science so it is good and from 2nd year the primary focus is cse for the students. Yes improvements are always there. The curriculum which is been taught is not been updated so that means old things are taught to us and for new aged problem our methods should also be of new generation so new things and new technology should be primarily taught. We have 2 mid semester exams and then the practical and end semester exam .

My campus life is good.I have got very nice friends and I am with a good company. I choose people very nicely and that is very important in the college life. Campus is big and it tries to maintain it too.Cleanliness is there and the campus hostels are also very nice as I lovd there only.Fests are less as it focuses on studies very much.We had a garba night which is every year at that time and we also have freshers every year. The library is also good as it provides us with the books for every sem and we return the extra books issued. It is quiet and books are sufficient but more books can be kept there. The sports facilities are also good even the faculties are okay and well behaved in terms of nature. Clubs open after 1st sem and they are okiesh.

My overall experience is not the same as i had expected. campus is not big. library is available that i liked. In sports every year SAMAR (sports program ) is organized by my SAMAR club. Other than this many clubs are also there. eclectica aavartan are the famous fests.

My course is mainly based on practical knowledge. civil department faculty are very supportive. but computer science subjects are not taught in my course it should be included. four exams are taken in one year (i.e. 2 in one semester) . which has moderate difficulty.

The curriculum is great. I personally liked the course structure due to the efficiency of each modules and the topics. The course is based on the real life experience and methods which makes it applicable to the real world. The faculties are very good at making things easier so that the students can understand better and apply the same.

The infrastructure are very advance and new which makes it attractive and approachable. The campus life is very good with quality living in the hostel. There are various club and members who manage the social activities in the college. The availability of books and journals are vast in the library.

I was alloted this course(Civil Engineering) through JOSAA Counselling. It is a very gud branch and helps a student to prepare for real-world applications. Each faculty tries it's level best to explain the concepts.Exams are also conducted twice in One sem which are of very gud level.

The event organization is in very beautiful type and the event are organized in our campus because our campus are very Hughe for party , events and many more functions and many celebrities are also visit our college

The fees structure are like monthly you have to pay a part of fees monthly and the feels are high for middle class students and only toppers and lower caste students have chance to get scholarship in the college

There are so many techfest and cultural events are organised in college campus every month. The books and journals are free of cost. All classrooms consist of digital board and projectors. They also gives attention towards sports implement. There are few clubs and group for our personality development and communication skills .

I want to be a good web developer thats why i choosed the it engineering. The whole cirriculum is pretty good and i think whole teaching method is also very nice. The unit tests are held once in one semester and the duration of unit test is 1.5 hours and for semester it is 3 hours. The difficulty level is medium.

I want get in to the corporate sector I always want to do mba to boost my career I have seen many of my seniors in that area I have followed Rodha classes for my preparation I suggest everyone to focus on apti part as my find this is very needed because after the exam when you get in to the college for internship and placement process you should have strong apti knowledge

From 2nd semester student become eligible for internship and from 4th sem end there student become eligible for placements. 95-97% students are getting placed My plan after getting the degree to get a good placement and then to improve myself in the area i want to.

Fees structure is 140000 for generals and for st sc students tution fees is not there but if you are general and your family imcome is less than 5 lakh than they need to pay 40k year and if less than 1 lakh than no need to pay tution fee.

Campus is good in terms of greenry and infrastructure and well maintained gardens and social life is good i made many friends and also girlfriend. Club involvement is good and many students are involved is also good .

There is annual sports event organised Inter department sports competition. And many more games were played All over campus life is explorable.

My choice to choose this course because I am not sure about in which subject I do master and PhD that's why I think I take physical science that gives you opportunities to take any subject to our higher degree. Syallabus is moderate level There are 2 semester exam per year for 4 year . Improvement - I think course is all over good .
