DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Big tech companies like Google, Amazon, Adobe, Uber, Apple, etc. visit every year for placements. No. of offers in the 21-22 session was 2434. The highest Package was 1.84 Crores and the average package is about 15-16 LPA. Profiles offered was SDE etc. In sessions 21-22, the percentage of BTech students placed was 97.45% I want to join a tech product-based company after my degree.

7th semester is the starting point of major placements. 400+ Comapnies visited with 3k+ offers. Highest package was 1.1 Cr is Aamazon. 99% Students get placed, rest go for further studies. My plan is to intially work for a couple of years.

I don't have much idea about placements. I am interested in the core sector, so I won't be going into Tech companies, and mechanical is a well-known branch in DTU and hence has a great placement record. A lot of companies come for campus placements and all of the students are happy at the end of the day by getting into dtu.

So talking about the placements 350+ companies visited college for the placements and made 1500+ offers. All big companies visited campus like Facebook , Google , Amazon, Uber , Atlassian, Goldman sachs etc. Students of 4th year are eligible for the placements. Highest package of the college was 1.84 Cr and average package was around 11 to 12 lakhs. Around 92+ % percent student got placed here. So placements are pretty awesome. After degree I want to crack GATE exam for getting a good placement in PSU's.

My plan is to first get an internship and stipend and have some job experience then after getting the degree just placed on campus and get a decent package and decent job for my dream life and expenses.

Although you can do the internship from 1st year, although the company starts coming from 2nd gear onwards for your internships, and for placement gets started in 3rd year, till 4th year you'll get to see companies coming.

Many companies are for on-campus placement and the packages are also good if you are from the Tech branch and descent for non-tech and core branch people. You will be eligible for campus placements in 3rd year. All MNCs visit our campus and over great packages of up to 50 LPA for the core as well Texas Instruments and many other companies come with 20+lpa. 90%+ students are placed in each batch. I will go for placement and try to be placed with a decent package.

From the 7th sem placement drive starts and in the 5th semester internship drive starts and around 80-90 percent get placed. According to me after completing the degree you should get a work experience of 2 years before planning for a master's.

Placements are excellent at DTU. Major 500 companies visit the campus every year. 4th-year students are eligible for appearing in the placement process. last year the placement percentage was 97.9 percent. My plans after my degree are to join civil services.

You can are eligible for placements from 6th sem, you will get a huge amount of opportunities as there are many company visits for selection, Companies like Microsoft, google, amazon, Suzuki, and many more big tech companies. The highest package for mechanical was around 16lac. The average package for mechanical was around 10 lac. There are no harsh rules for percentage but if you have more than 8sgpa you are eligible for most companies. After graduation aiming to be a DRDO scientist.
