This college is nearby my hometown also it is easier for me to travel from my home to the college easily. The infrastructure of the college is very good. I also love the location of the college. there are so many places to visit.

My reason for choosing this college is based on the following factors:
1. Placement - KIIT guarantees 100% placement for CS branches and around 95% for non-CS branches. 2. Infrastructure - Infrastructure plays a very important role in education and holistic development. KIIT has a state of art infrastructure spread over an area of more than 700 acres with facilities for R&D, sports, entrepreneurship, etc.
3. Brand Value - KIIT has many top national and international accreditations which adds value to its degree. It is also ranked among the top engineering schools of this country. 4. Extracurricular Activities (Clubs and Society) - I always wanted to take part in societies and extracurricular activities in college and KIIT provides opportunities for everything. Whatever you may want to do, KIIT has a facility for everything.
5. Faculty - If not the best, KIIT has a good faculty with professors from IITs. 6. Review from seniors

Kiit is very old and very popular among all the private universities of bhubaneswar and also in india. It is very much known for giving best placements in the whole of bhubaneswar. And also very famous for its campus.

Massive campusing, almost 100 percent placement, opportunities to learn and grow skills, all type of internship facilities, generous faculty, huge campus, choices for extra curricular activities, sports facilities and easy availability of transport

Great placement with great teaching facilities. Lab facilities are good.Hostel and mess facilities are good. Many societies for students to interact. Great facilities like sap Portal,Help desk,Ict cell for student queries and help them. Each student are given a Mentor for guidance and help.

Remarks:
1. Amazing Infrastructure - including Auditoriums, AC Classrooms, Projectors in every class, Hostel Facilities
2. Placement Record - with an average package of 6-8 LPA, and more than 60% placements each year. The package may go up to 40 lakhs.
3. Course Structure - that included new and modern courses like Aeronautical, CAD, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, etc., and all the courses are approved by AICTE.
4. Outreach Programmes - that gave many opportunities to connect with major personalities. Almost every week, 2-3 guests visit the University. Like CEO of Boeing, Ambassadors, etc.
5. Societies/Organizations - especially, NSS that has a huge impact on a person's character as well as society. 6. Internship Opportunities - which give the chance to connect with MNCs and industries.
7. Patents - No. of patents are good. More than 40. Research & Development is taken up very seriously here.

This is very renowned college and is also seen as the top college in bhubaneswar. It feels great to me to study in this college because of the peaceful environment. There are also many places to hangout.

Top ranked college in East India and the campus is just amazing. The education here is world class and every facility is available in and around the campus. Location wise also it is in the Centre of the city.

Close to home, good placement record, vibrant campus, diversity of people and one of the best private institutions in the country, good reviews from seniors as well. Overall looked like a promising opportunity.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
