- There is a big central library and each branch has it's own library in it's building.

- Due to large campus size we have to walk a lot of distance to attend our classes.
- The climate here is very hot and humid , the temperature is always on higher side.
- The mess food is below average sometimes.
Placement Experience:
the average placements is 660000.
students are eligible for placements from 6th semester.
some of the companies that visit are microsoft gigabyte, etc.
highest package was 53 lakh per annum
average is 6.6 lakh
KIIT has a 100% placement record.

- I like the campus of kiit and the greenish campus.
- The classroom and labs are well equipped and fully furnished.
- Kiit have Central Library which have lakhs of books.
Dislikes
- The climate of Bhubaneswar was very hot and humid.
- The distance between two campus is large so we have to travel a lot for classes.
- Some of the faculty and hostel wardens are not supporting
Placement Experience:
After 6th semestet students are eligible for in campus placements. Microsoft, TCS, Amazon Flipkart Wipro HTC etc and many more. Highest package offered in 2023 was 64 lakhs and the average package was around 7-8 lakhs and almist 80-90 percent students got placement. After getting rhe degree I am planning to sir for Gate exam for futher opportunities.

- Campus size.its huge and your clasess are held in one corner
Placement Experience:
Placements are decent but highly depend upon one's capability. The highest package can be counted at 60 lakhs and the number of companies visiting the campus is also decent. well, nearly 80 percent of students are placed.

- The college life is quite good.The Sports facility is amazing.
- The campus is very big and beautiful.There is 30+ campus
- The places is nearby are good like Jagannath Temple,Puri Beach
Dislikes
- The food quality is very and not healthy.
Placement Experience:
The placement starts from 7th semester.There are many companies visited like Adobe,JP Morgan ,Adani Enterprises,Etc.The highest package was around 63 lakh and average is 9 lakh.In 2023 placement was almost 100 percent.My plan after BTech is MBA in Finance.

- I like the infrastructure, building, faculties and campus , this college provides better nirf and placements.
Dislikes
- I hated the weather here just , everything is goid but the humid amd hot air and sun is way too much hectic
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course is good and it has future scope and k believe if i gain more knowledge in depths than i can even do more good , the areas of improvement can be by providing more good faculty members and staffs , everything is good but some faculties need more teaching techniques , they are sometimes not bothered so much about us.

- Class timing and holidays which are fairly more .
Dislikes
- Some professor and lab assistant and distance between the campuses
- No bus facilities are thier so we have to walk from one campus to another
- Overall mess food is not that good and also the outdoor timings are very less
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester the placement training and approtunities are there. The company visted include giga byte , JP morgan .ITC and infosis.the highest package hover around 20-21 lakhs and the average package ranges from 7-8 lakhs for computer science core branch ml.Although it is written in their website that 100 percent students get placed but 80-90 percent student get placed .I have still not decide what I am going to do after getting the degree.

- There are so many things I like that I can't probably list them all (at least for me)
Course Curriculum Overview:
To be honest, the teachers don't give a damn about how well you're prepared for real world applications. All they want from you is to submit the assignment before deadline and give hundreds of quiz/test in each semester.
Overall, they're humble natured and will help you grow though.

- Campus, infrastructure and the greenery. Social life is really good here.
- Facilities are good. They do support you when needed.
- Sports and other extracurricular activities.
Dislikes
- They give priority to the Odia people here. Too much biased for a North Indian.
- The summer weather is too hot. And the classes for the evening time consist of useless breaks.

Placement Experience:
From 5th or 6th semester, students become eligible for the campus placements. They are provided with various internships. Companies like Amazon, Samsung, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft etc visited. Last year almost 100 percent of the students got placed. Highest package of 6500000 and average package of 500000 were offered. Percentage of students getting placements is between 80 to 90 percent. My plans after getting the degree is to get atleast 1 or 2 year job experience and being financially good and then pursuing M.Tech.

- Facilities. Campus road which has plenty fast food options.
- Air conditioned rooms. Smooth roads to roam around the campus. Lots of trees (but still very hot)
- Social clubs and sports culture. Individual freedom.
Dislikes
- Hostility by some teachers. Hassle with attendance and help. Mentors agaisnt taking leave from hostel for important occasions to go home.
- Internal prejudice of students from other states, problem of fitting in.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is heavily researched and frequently updated. The laboratories and facilities are upto the highest standard. Research is also pretty good here. With adjacent colleges like KIMS and KISS collaboration and making projects is easier. Teaching methods however in my opinion are a bit outdated, students can find difficulty in understanding the teachings of certain teachers where their regional accent can prove to be a difficulty. The frequency and timing of exams are okay as there are 2 exams each semester. Sometimes due to anomalies (elections, etc.), time is cut short and it becomes a problem for both teachers and students to complete course content.

- I think the intake in Kiit is more then enough but the management is good enough to handle
Placement Experience:
I am out of context on this but according to the official data it provides 100% placement with 8.19 lac as an average package,the highest package is 62 lac and companies visited is 300+ . The students are eligible after 5+semester internships and placements

What is your review of KIIT University?

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
