Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) does not have separate colleges of its own. Instead, it conducts classes through Delhi University affiliated colleges and university departments, which function as NCWEB Teaching Centres. These centres conduct weekend classes, counselling sessions, practicals, and examinations for women enrolled in NCWEB programmes.

• For UG Admissions 2026, Delhi University has designated 26 Teaching Centres across various colleges for B.A. Programme and B.Com courses. These include colleges such as-

Students are allotted a Teaching Centre based on merit, category, seat availability, and their preferred centre during the admission process.

DU NCWEB UG Teaching Centres and Subject Combinations 2026

The table below shows the subject combinations available at different NCWEB Teaching Centres for B.A. Programme and B.Com students.

Note: AECC + MIL (Language) is a compulsory paper for all NCWEB UG students. It focuses on language proficiency and skill enhancement and must be studied along with the programme-specific core subjects.

Admission to the Teaching Centre

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 (Senior Secondary Examination) from CBSE or an equivalent recognized board.
• Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility marks prescribed for the chosen UG programme.
• Admission is based on merit for eligible undergraduate courses.
• Merit is calculated using one Language (from List A) and the best three elective subjects, as per the University of Delhi guidelines.

The Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), University of Delhi, offers UG programmes through 26 designated teaching centres across Delhi.

DU NCWEB Classes

Classes are conducted on Saturdays and academic holidays at the following NCWEB teaching centres:

DU NCWEB UG Course Guidelines 2026

• In addition to their chosen subject combination, all students must study compulsory courses such as AECC (Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course), SEC (Skill Enhancement Course), VAC (Value Addition Course), and GE (General Elective) as per the UGC NEP 2022 and University of Delhi guidelines.
• Some AECC, SEC, and VAC classes may be conducted at designated Cluster Teaching Centres instead of the student's allotted NCWEB teaching centre.
• The availability of subject combinations and AECC, SEC, VAC, and GE courses depends on the minimum number of students enrolled, as per the University of Delhi's rules.

DU NCWEB UG Attendance Rules 2026

• Attendance is compulsory for all students and is counted from the first day of classes, irrespective of when the admission result is declared.
• A minimum of 67% attendance is mandatory to be eligible for the University examinations. Students who fail to meet this requirement may not receive their Admit Card (Roll Number).
• No attendance relaxation is provided to employed (working) students.
• Regularly verify your attendance records. If your name is missing from the teacher's attendance register, immediately contact the Teacher-in-Charge or First Assistant at your teaching centre and get it corrected through a written request.
• Students participating in approved extracurricular activities may be granted up to 6% relaxation in attendance, subject to University rules.
• Students absent due to illness should keep their medical certificates and doctor's prescriptions safely and produce them at the teaching centre whenever required.
• First-year and second-year students who fail must apply for readmission within 40 days from the date of result declaration. Readmission requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.
• Students who have applied for revaluation must continue attending classes based on the originally declared result until the revaluation result is announced.

DU NCWEB PG Students 2026

Students are advised to regularly visit the official Delhi University website (www.du.ac.in) and the NCWEB website for the latest admission, examination, and academic updates.

• Optional Paper Change: Requests for changing optional papers are accepted only with prior approval from NCWEB and must be submitted through the Teacher-in-Charge within the prescribed timeline.
• Course Completion: Students enrolled in M.A. or M.Sc. programmes must complete their degree within four years from the date of first enrolment.
• Migration Policy: Migration between Regular Colleges, the School of Open Learning (SOL), and NCWEB is not permitted.

DU NCWEB PG Admission Categories

DU NCWEB PG admissions are conducted under two categories—Category 1 (C1) and Category 2 (C2).

• Category 1 (C1): Applicable to candidates who have obtained their qualifying degree from the University of Delhi.
• Category 2 (C2): Applicable to candidates who have obtained their qualifying degree from other recognized universities and other eligible applicants as per DU admission guidelines.

DU NCWEB PG Attendance Rules 2026

Students admitted to DU NCWEB PG programmes are required to maintain the minimum attendance prescribed by the University of Delhi. Regular attendance is mandatory to remain eligible for semester examinations.

• Minimum Attendance: Students must maintain at least 67% attendance in each semester.
• Attendance Undertaking: At the time of admission, students must submit an undertaking agreeing to maintain the prescribed minimum attendance.
• Regular Attendance: Students are expected to attend all classes as per the official NCWEB PG timetable.
• Exam Eligibility: Students who fail to meet the minimum attendance requirement may not be permitted to appear in the University semester examinations.
• University Regulations: NCWEB PG students are governed by the same examination and academic regulations applicable to other University of Delhi postgraduate students.

Note: Since NCWEB classes are conducted only on weekends, students should attend every scheduled class to comfortably meet the 67% attendance requirement and avoid any impact on their examination eligibility.
