How to Fill CMAT 2027 Application Form
The registration process has five stages. Complete all stages in one session if possible — partial applications saved at the fee stage may not be processed if the session times out.
Step 1: New Registration on the NTA Portal
- Go to exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT and click "New Registration" or "Apply Now".
- Enter your full name exactly as it appears on your Class 10 certificate, your date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
- Create a password (8–13 characters; include at least one uppercase letter, one digit, and one special character).
- Submit to receive your Application Number. Save it — you need it for every future login and for downloading the admit card.
Step 2: Fill Personal and Academic Details
- Log in using your Application Number and password.
- Fill your personal details: father’s name, mother’s name, gender, category (General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS), PwD status, and correspondence address.
- Enter your academic details — Class 10, Class 12, and graduation percentage, year of passing, and institution name.
- Select up to four exam cities in order of preference. NTA assigns a centre from your choices.
- Review all entries carefully and save before moving to the next step.
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
- Upload a recent passport-size photograph (JPG/JPEG format, 10 KB – 200 KB, white or light background, face clearly visible).
- Upload your signature (JPG/JPEG, 4 KB – 30 KB, signed on plain white paper in black or blue ink).
- Upload your Class 10 marksheet or passing certificate (PDF, up to 300 KB) as date of birth proof.
- Upload a category certificate (PDF, up to 300 KB) if you are claiming SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD reservation.
- Preview every uploaded file before proceeding. Blurry or incorrect uploads are rejected at the exam centre and can result in denial of entry.
Step 4: Pay the Application Fee
- Choose a payment mode: debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Pay the fee applicable to your category (see the fee table in the next section).
- After a successful transaction, the portal will show a payment confirmation screen. Do not close the browser before this screen loads.
Step 5: Download the Confirmation Page
- After payment, the NTA portal generates your Application Confirmation Page with your Application Number, name, category, exam city preferences, and payment details.
- Download and save this page as a PDF. NTA does not send a confirmation by email or SMS.
- Keep this confirmation page safe — you will need the Application Number to download your CMAT 2027 admit card.
Documents Required for CMAT 2027 Registration
Prepare digital copies of all documents before you begin. Uploading an incorrect or blurry document is the most common reason for applications being flagged during verification.
