CMAT 2021 Cutoff is released by each participating institutes once results are declared by NTA. Cut off to shortlist candidates is released by colleges for the selection process since there is no centralized admission process. Candidates who clear the cutoff for the institutes they have applied to will get a call soon regarding the selection rounds. CMAT 2021 Result will be declared in first week of February 2021 on official webiste cmat.nta.nic.in. NTA will also release final answer key and merit list alongside the result. Candidates can check their overall percentile, sectional scores, and All India Rank (AIR) by downloading the scorecard.

    • CMAT Cut off is the minimum marks required for a candidate to successfully secure a seat in AICTE approved PGDM and MBA programs across the country.
    • Candidates who wish to get into the top 20 colleges in the country should expect a cutoff of around 99+ percentile, which means a score higher than 282 in CMAT 2021.
    • Those who have applied for any PGDM programme will have to wait for the shortlist and then the subsequent GD/PI/WAT round. On the other hand, those who have applied for MMS can directly attain admission into the institution of their choice upon clearing the cutoff. Check  CMAT 2021 Selection Procedure
    • In accordance with the current prediction, a score of at least 250 could land a candidate for GD & PI round at B-schools like GIM, whereas a score of at least 275-280 can help candidates to get a call from an institute like KJSOM.

NTA Scores reflect % ofcandidates who have scored equal to or below the candidate. Formula used is as follows:

100 x Numberof candidates appeared in the exam with score equal toor less than the candidate/ Total number of candidates appeared in the exam

Scores are not to be treated as percentage marks obtained nor it is an aggregate of score in individual subject

For eg. If a candidate has gotten the first rank, his CMAT percentile score will be calculated in the following manner: 100 x 9999/10,000 = 99.99

    How is CMAT Rank Assigned?

    • Ranks are given to the candidate on the basis of the marks scored by candidates in the exam
    • Candidate who scores the highest attains All India Rank 1
    • If two candidates attain the same score, rank is alloted on the basis of their sectional scores
