What is CMAT Admit Card 2027?
The CMAT 2027 admit card is the official entry document issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to every registered student. NTA will upload the hall ticket on the official portal at exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/ in January 2027. It confirms your registration and grants you permission to sit in the exam.
You cannot appear in the exam without a valid printed admit card — no digital copy is accepted at the exam centre.
The admit card contains your name, roll number, exam date, shift timing, reporting time, gate closure time, and the full address of your allotted exam centre. Invigilators at the exam hall use it alongside a valid photo ID to verify your identity before seating you. Your CMAT 2027 admit card will also carry a QR code that is scanned at the entry gate.
The admit card will not be sent by post — you must download it from the official website.
Note: Downloading and printing the CMAT 2027 admit card is completely free. Do not pay anyone who offers it as a service.

This document tells you the city and general area where your exam centre is located. Note: The City Intimation Slip is not a substitute for the admit card. You must download and carry a printed copy of the full CMAT 2027 admit card on exam day — the City Intimation Slip alone will not get you entry into the exam hall.

CMAT Admit Card 2027: Important Instructions
NTA prints a set of important instructions on the CMAT admit card. Read them carefully before exam day. The key instructions are summarised below so you know exactly what to expect at the exam centre.
Report to the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the exam — late entry is not permitted after gate closure.
| Guideline | Instruction |
|---|---|
| Reporting Time | Arrive at the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the exam start time. This allows time for biometric verification, frisking, and seating. |
| Gate Closure | The exam centre gate closes 30 minutes before the exam begins. Students arriving after gate closure will not be allowed inside, and no exception is made. |
| Identity Verification | Carry your original admit card and a valid photo ID. Invigilators will check both at the entry gate and again at your seat. |
| Prohibited Items | Do not carry mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, electronic devices, wallets, bags, books, notes, or any stationery into the exam hall. |
| Rough Work | Use only the scratch pad provided at the exam centre. Rough work on any other surface is not permitted. |
| Photograph Verification | Invigilators will match your face with the photograph on your admit card and ID. Carry the same photograph that you uploaded during registration. |
| Exam Centre Allotment | You cannot change your exam centre once the admit card is issued. Requests for centre relocation will not be entertained by NTA. |
| Dress Code | Avoid wearing heavy jewellery, rings, bracelets, earrings, or chains. Light half-sleeve clothing is recommended. Shoes with thick soles may be inspected. |
| Conduct During Exam | Any malpractice, unfair means, or impersonation leads to immediate disqualification. NTA may take legal action in serious cases. |
| Post-Exam | You must hand over the scratch pad to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall. Do not take it outside. |
What to Do If There Is a Discrepancy in CMAT Admit Card 2027
Download your CMAT 2027 admit card as soon as NTA releases it and compare every detail against your application form. If you find an error — a misspelled name, wrong date of birth, incorrect category, or unclear photograph — act immediately. Do not wait until exam day to raise a concern, as corrections may not be possible at the last minute.
- Download the admit card and compare each field against your CMAT 2027 application confirmation email.
- Note the specific field with the error — name spelling, date of birth, category, photograph, or exam centre details.
- Contact NTA at 011-69227700 or 011-40759000 or write to cmat@nta.ac.in.
- Keep your application number, fee payment receipt, and a government-issued ID ready when you contact NTA.
- Follow NTA’s instructions for reissue or correction of the admit card.
- If the error is minor and NTA does not reissue the card before the exam, carry your supporting documents — original ID, application confirmation — and explain the discrepancy to the invigilator on exam day.
Note: NTA does not allow a change of exam centre after the admit card is issued. Do not request centre relocation — such requests are not entertained under any circumstances.
