AIIMS MBBS (AIIMS MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAM) 2018 RESULT & COUNSELLING
NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
AIIMS New Delhi will declare the result of AIIMS MBBS 2018 on June 18, 2018 in online mode. Candidates will need to obtain a minimum of 50% (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST) marks to qualify AIIMS MBBS 2018. AIIMS 2018 Result will be announced in the form of merit list. Candidates will check it through an applicant login by entering their candidate ID & password.
AIIMS MBBS 2018 result will be declared in three formats, i.e. individual percentile scorecards, roll-number wise and rank-wise list of qualified candidates eligible for first round of AIIMS MBBS 2018 counselling. Candidates should go through given steps to check AIIMS Result 2018:

The result of AIIMS MBBS is released in the form of percentile scores. Candidates’ marks of AIIMS MBBS exam are converted in the form of percentile score and then the final merit list and result is prepared. AIIMS New Delhi will prepare AIIMS MBBS 2018 result on the basis of following details of a candidate:
Candidate’s subject-wise percentiles and overall percentile in their group will be calculated on the basis of the following formula. Here, T, S1, S2, S3 and S4 represent total marks in overall exam, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and General Knowledge respectively.
A merit list will be published online by the AIIMS MBBS, New Delhi authority. The Percentile scores for the Total Marks for both shifts as mentioned above would be merged and arranged so as to derive an overall Merit List / Ranking. There are four merit lists that are prepared are as follows:
In case of a tie (identical Total Percentile) the order of deciding higher rank / merit would be: Percentile in Biology, Percentile in Chemistry, Percentile in Physics, Percentile in General Knowledge, elder by age. The overall ranking is based on the percentile scores of the total raw scores. The method applied for breaking ties are:
The normalization will be utilized to decide on the merit/ranking (used at the time counselling for seat allotment) between those candidates who appeared on examination. The normalization procedure will be adopted on the basis of percentiles.

As per AIIMS New Delhi, the AIIMS 2018 Cut Off marks for General Candidates is expected to be 50%, for SC/ST candidates it will be 40% while for OBC candidates, it is expected to be 45%. If the percentiles obtained from all four shifts are dissimilar or different, the lower of the four percentiles is expected to be the eligibility cut off in a particular category for all candidates across both shifts.
