Center Allotment Process

IPU CET 2027 Exam Center Allotment Process

GGSIPU follows a structured process for allotting IPU CET 2027 exam centers to registered candidates. Understanding this process helps candidates make the right city choice during registration - because no changes are permitted after the form is submitted.

  • Step 1: During the application form, candidates select their preferred exam city. B.Tech, MCA, and MBA applicants can fill up to 2 city preferences in order of priority. Candidates for all other programs do not need to fill a city preference as their exam will be held in Delhi.
  • Step 2: After the registration window closes, GGSIPU processes all applications and assigns a specific exam center within the preferred city based on seat availability.
  • Step 3: The allotted center details - including the full venue address, exam date, shift timing, and reporting instructions - are printed on the IPU CET Admit Card 2027.
  • Step 4: Candidates download the admit card from the official GGSIPU portal and note the allotted center well in advance of the exam date.

Candidates should choose city preferences wisely. GGSIPU makes every effort to allot a center within the first preferred city; the second preference is used only if the first city has no vacancy.

Center Change Policy

IPU CET 2027 Exam Center Change: Is It Allowed?

GGSIPU maintains a strict no-change policy for IPU CET exam centers. Once the application form is submitted, the chosen exam city cannot be altered at any point - not during the form correction window, not after admit card release, and not on the day of the examination.

  • No request for a change in exam center, exam date, or exam session will be entertained under any circumstances.
  • The form correction window, if offered, does not extend to exam city or center changes.
  • Candidates who receive a center in their second-preference city also cannot request a shift back to the first-preference city.

Note: Since no center change is allowed after form submission, candidates must select a city that is easily reachable on the exam day. Choosing a city close to home avoids travel complications and last-minute stress.
