JIPMER 2027 Eligibility Criteria (Before You Apply)

You must satisfy all of the following conditions to be eligible for JIPMER MBBS 2027 admission. Students who do not meet these criteria will be disqualified at the document-verification stage regardless of their NEET UG score.

Note: Only bonafide residents of UT Puducherry are eligible for the 64 domicile-reserved seats at JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal combined. Students from all other states and UTs can apply only for AIQ seats through MCC counselling — they cannot apply for domicile quota seats.

How to Fill JIPMER Application Form 2027

Applying for JIPMER MBBS 2027 will require you to complete two separate registration processes in sequence. Do not skip either step — missing either registration makes you ineligible for seat allotment.

Phase 1: Register for NEET UG 2027 (NTA Portal — Expected February 2027)

1. Visit neet.nta.nic.in when the NEET UG 2027 registration window opens and click "New Registration".
2. Enter your full name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID exactly as they appear on your Class 10 certificate — even minor discrepancies cause rejection.
3. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS. Your mobile number will be your primary communication channel throughout the process.
4. Set a strong password and note your Application Number — you will need it for admit card, result, and counselling logins.
5. Fill in personal details: name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, and state of eligibility.
6. Fill in academic details: Class 12 board, year of passing, subject combination, and whether you are appearing in 2027 or have already passed.
7. Select your exam centre city preferences (up to 4 cities in descending order of preference).
8. Upload your recent passport-size photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format within the size limits specified in the NEET UG 2027 information brochure.

After the NEET UG 2027 result (expected June/July 2027), you will register separately on the JIPMER portal. If you are eligible for AIQ seats (non-Puducherry domicile), you will also need to register on mcc.nic.in.

3. Log in using your NEET UG 2027 Application Number, Roll Number, and Date of Birth to fetch your NEET score automatically.

5. Upload required documents (NEET scorecard, category certificate, domicile certificate if applicable) in the prescribed format.
6. Select your campus preference — JIPMER Puducherry, JIPMER Karaikal, or both.
