The electromagnetic Effect is the magnetic effect generated by the electric current. When we take a compass near a conductor having a current, the needle of the compass shows deflection due to the passing of the electricity which proves that the magnetic field is created by electric current.

Magnetic Field
A magnetic field is a place in space near a magnet or an electric current wherein a physical field is created from a moving electric charge that creates a force on another moving electric charge. An example of a magnetic field is the Earth's magnetic field. All magnets possess north and south poles. Opposite poles are attracted to each other, while the same poles repel each other.

Fleming’s Left Hand Rule
According to Fleming’s Left Hand Rule, if we arrange our thumb, forefinger, and middle finger of the left-hand perpendicular to each other, then the thumb points towards the direction of the magnetic force, the forefinger points towards the direction of the magnetic field, and the middle finger points towards the direction of the current.

Direct current is referred to as the one-directional flow of electric charge. A prime example of DC power is an electrochemical cell.
