Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) is a programme that promotes safe motherhood, child survival, and extended maternal and child health. It was introduced on October 15th, 1997 In order to lower the nation's total fertility rate, infant mortality rate, and maternal mortality rate. The initiative was launched in accordance with the recommendations made at the 1994 World Conference on Population and Development.
