TISSNET Reservation: The scores of national level entrance exam is accepted at TISS Mumbai, Tuljalpur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, The Banyan Chennai, MHAT Chennai and G-SET Ranchi. The final admissions to TISS courses at all these institutes are governed by Reservation Policy defined by the conducting authority. Each TISSNET Score accepting institute has a reservation policy for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and for People with Disability (PWD).
The option to fill your category comes at the time of registration. Your caste certificate must be uploaded with the form to claim reservation. TISSNET 2019 is scheduled for January 19, application forms will release in October 2018.

TISSNET Result will form the basis for the admission to TISS courses. There are well-defined reservation rules which are covered under the guidelines of TISSNET 2019 reservation policy that will be followed at the time of seat allotment on the basis of the counselling. Following are the number of seats reserved at TISS, as defined under TISSNET reservation policy:

Supernumery quota is an additional reservation policy issued by the GoI, in order to provide tuition fee waiver benefit, to the students, where the annual income of the family is less than 4.5 lakhs. The certificate has to be issued by the Tahsildar for the process of seat allotment.
As per the guidelines issued by GoI, 3% seats are reserved for the person with the disability at the time of admission. The three categories of disability benefits are as follows:
(b) Hearing impairment
(c) Locomotor disability/cerebral palsy
Under this, 5% seats are reserved as per the policy for the children /widows of personnel Armed/Paramilitary Forces killed/disabled in action during the hostilities in the following priority:
Priority I : Widows/wards of Defense personnel/Para-Military Personnel killed in action.
Required Certificate: Proof in Original.
Priority II : Wards of serving Defense Personnel and ex-servicemen/Para-Military personnel disabled in action.
Required Certificate: Original disability certificate clearly indicating the disability is attributable to Military Services.
Priority III : Widows/wards of Defense Personnel/Para-Military Personnel who died in peace time with death attributable to Military Service.
Required Certificate: Original death certificate clearly indicating the cause of death is attributable to Military Service.
Priority IV : Wards of Defense Personnel/Para-Military Personnel disabled in peace time with disability attributable to Military Service.
Required Certificate: Original disability certificate clearly indicating the disability is attributable to Military Service.
Priority V : Wards of serving Defense Personnel and ex-servicemen Para-Military/Police Personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards.
Required Certificate: Proof of award in Original.
Priority VI : Wards of Defense Ex-servicemen.
Required Certificate: Original ex-servicemen Identity Card/discharge book/PPO(Pension Payment Order).
Priority VII : Wards of serving Defense Personnel.
Required Certificate: Original Service Identity Cards and Dependent Card/Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
