The molar mass of an element is the mass of one mole of a substance. The molar mass of magnesium is 24.305 g/mol.

  • Magnesium is the most chemically active element in the periodic table.
  • Found in the second group of the periodic table, magnesium naturally occurs only in a combined form with other elements. 
  • The molar mass of an element is its relative atomic mass given on the periodic table in g/mol.
