SPPU PG Admission 2020: Online Mock Entrance Test to be held from Sept 21-26

With studies taking the digital route in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will be holding online entrance examinations for its various postgraduate programmes and integrated courses on September 28, 2020. 

While the admission process for the next year has also begun, SPPU has launched a proctored test method for its various departments.

As a result, mock tests are organised to help students get acquainted with virtual exam mode.

Students will be able to take the mock tests between September 21 to 26, 2020.

Uttam Chavan, Deputy Registrar, PG Admission, said, "In order to get acquainted with the procedure, students may take the mock tests before entering the actual exams."

A total of 28,000 students applied for 3,200 seats in 61 different varsity courses, covering faculties such as humanities, science and technology, trade and management, among others.

A student appearing for a humanities entrance examination said, "The mock test will help us understand the technicalities and prepare for the final round."

Students are even allowed to appear multiple times for mock tests to eliminate doubts.

With the entrance examinations scheduled for September 28 to 30, 2020 in batches, the results are likely to be out on October 3, 2020.

Students will be allowed to take the exams through gadgets such as mobile phones, laptops, computers, iPads, and so on.

Similar mock tests for admission to bachelor programmes were carried out earlier in the pilot project.
