Remarks

The college is fine. I will give it a 4/5. There should be more scientific temperament in college campus. The college should not engage in politics and help students with their career option. The college is perfect for talented students and to enjoy fest's.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

We have the semester system in DU. 2 semesters per year. Course of curriculum is repetitive. Questions mostly repeat in DU. Exams are pretty , not much of the scientific environment here. The students need to achieve a minimum SGPA in all subjects to proceed to next semester.

Placement Experience

3

Yes , we have a periodic Internship fair which is quite helpful for mostly the commerce and economics students. Not much in it is for science student. They do internships under teachers mostly unpaid. The placement cell is quite idle.

College Events

4.5

We have the Vaktavya ( The annual Leadership conference ) , the Mushairah ( Literary fest ) and annual Fest - Mecca.Apart from them , every department has its own fest, mine is Quarks and Alumni Meet. Not to forget the Freshers and farewell

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's quite feasible with an average of 20K an year only the cost of residence in Delhi is high. Delhi is very expensive to live. Different colleges have different fees for different programmes. Computer Science fee is around 50K a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such thing started from the college. Only the Government provides Scholarship to 0.1 meritorious students all around India. The college doesn't provide any loan as far as I know. Fee is refunded for economically weaker students

Campus Life

3.5

The college provides exposure for all the talented students with the help of societies. We also have many societies like Abstraction for Art , Adrathya for Classical Dance , NSS , Srajya for Western Dance and many more. The labs are fine , sports is mostly for those who got admission from sports Quota

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are more helpful in the election season. Alumnis are more helpful for the Commercian and Economics students. Most of the Physics Alumnis have a big way to go for their career. Alumnis mostly help in festival seasons for Sponsorships.

Admission

The colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi conduct it's admission through 12th Boards Marks. There are different cut offs for every courses in different colleges. I got 95% and got admission in Hindu College in 2017.

Faculty

3.5

The College Faculty mostly consists of teachers already studied from DU. Since, I'm a science students, I can tell about my faculty. My college ranks 2 in NIRF rankings 2020 still the faculty disappoints sometime. Some teachers are overqualified, not teaching material, some are just average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Students are eligible for paid internships early in their college tenure, with placements following later. KPMG, upGrad Campus, Collegedunia, Deloitte are some of the large number of visiting companies and they offer guaranteed placements.

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
