Remarks

Positive remarks : I am enjoying being a part of this college , also ranked in Top 10 colleges all over India by NIRF ranking and also Grade A college. Campus is good, ground is huge, all sort of sports is present. Crowd is good, good quality teaching. Negative Remarks: Canteen food sucks, administration office is very rude, students are not motivated to do something extra apart from studies like workshops, even once our principal denied the workshop offer from Google whose topic was Google cloud certification. Funds are not raised for attending hackathons, travel allowances are not provided.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our stream is computer science and I found the course structure for a B.Sc.(H) Cs is almost same as that for a engineering course(B.Tech). We have references marked in University guidlines, we study them. Although our course is most of a theory course which lacks somewhere meet the demand for IT industries and big product based companies like Google but that's a thing why every curriculum needs to change to teach students what companies want to have. Talking of exams, the CBCS scheme is not too hard, if you study properly during study leaves and have a look at last year papers then one can easily score good marks.

Placement Experience

3

I will say the situation of placements currently is pretty decent comparing other graduation colleges in Delhi University. Around 45 companies have already visited this year offering an average package of 4 lakhs( not that good) with the highest package being offered was 18 lakhs. On an average , 3 or 4 students are placed for Evey position that comes. Our college also has a internship cell which helps student get Internships, the internships that are offered are not at all good, I myself wasn't able to be a intern from college internship cell. Mostly the positions are for commerce students like content writing, digital marketing, sales and all. My Internship experience was bad.

College Events

2.5

Presence of almost 30 college societies make this list a big one. Every society organises a fest, a farewell, a Fresher's for its members. College celebrates fest nights, Fresher's, founder's day, annual day, dance competitions and many more. This thing is very good about Delhi university colleges, every other day something is happening in the auditorium, in ampitheatres.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is equally funded by government and DAV organization. The fee structure is double as that of any other DU college. The fees ranges from 10,000 to 25,000 for all sort of courses except one which is our course whose fees is 49,000 yes almost double that of any other course in my college itself. I don't know if it's expensive or not but still better that a engineering degree in any ordinary private college where fees ranges in lakhs. Scholarships are present for needy but not much.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as I know, once my friend told me that he applied for the for a scholarship and after so many interviews, proceedings he got only 1000 rupees. whereas the fees paid is 49k. So scholarships are not good and also no financial aid is provided for economically backward section students (I'm not surel

Campus Life

4.5

The labs are well equipped with required equipments. Computer labs, chemistry labs, botany labs, all sort of labs are present. Labs assistant are there to help you with the equipment when you face any sort of difficulty operating one.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No, I am a day scholar. I commute daily from my home. Talking of college hostel facilities there are very less number of seats in the hostel only around 80 when there are about more than 30 courses. Also Girl hostel is not there. With less seats present , mostly south Indian students get hostel because of their home town at farthest distance from here.

Alumni/Alumna

Shahrukh Khan is our alumni. The alumni network is very good. Many more big personalities passed out of this college. They also pay visit time to time , last year Anurag Kashyap came and Sharukh Khan also last to last year. Senior students are very helpful and intelligent. I am in contact with many good students from my senior batch and super senior batch. They are very helpful.

Admission

I got admission in this college based on my good academic record of class 12th. All you have to do is check if your marks meet the cutoff, if meets go to college there they verify your mark-sheets and if found ok then , ask for all sort of documents like mark-sheets, character certificate, migration and identity certificates etc. Once form is filled you have to fill the course fees through the online portal of Delhi University and You're done.

Faculty

3.5

I think they are best. Most of our college professors are in mid 30s and 40s and that's why find easy to connect with us. Teachers are supportive , regular and responsible too. They make sure syllabus is completed on time, and provide us with many ways to get marks for the assessment. Also try to help with exam pattern and providing some sample questions. Sometimes they forget about teaching and talk with us normally like a mentor.

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
