Remarks

Hindu college is one of the best colleges of india and it offers an amazing platform for academics as well as co-curricular activities. It has some great famous alumni who have studied in here and are promoting college's name and making it shine in the entire world in every field. Hindu college has and offers all a candidate could wish for. Being an hindutie is no less than a dream come true.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is very Apt. We study the course prescribed by the University and there are 6 semesters in the 3 years of graduation and exams at the end of each semester which has a duration of 6 months. Every semester there is a new revised syllabus with changed faculties for each particular topic and this is one of the best things.

Placement Experience

4.5

College has a separate internship cell named " abhyas " to give the assisstance to the students in prepao and scoring good internships in dignified places. We do have a separately dedicated placement cell named "DISHA" which is totally run by student body and assissted by faculty when needed.

College Events

5

There are plethora of event and activities organised in college. Annual sports meet Vaktavya ( leadership conclave ) Mushaira ( the literature festival ) MECCA- the annual fest of hindu college Each departments' fest. And much more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is highly feasible and has been constructed keeping each section of society in mind so that everyone can avail the quality education if they are deserving. The annual fees is taken in the odd semester and examination fees in each semester which is very minimal.

Fees and Financial Aid

College offers various scholarships programmes to meritorious and needful students both academically and financially. There is an entire list of all the numerous scholarships offered on the College website with the respective eligiblity.

Campus Life

4.5

When it comes to extracurricular activities it is more of like, " you just name it, and we have it her". From sports , labs , fest ,cultural evenings , leadership conclave , literature festivals, competitions, and trips , Hindu and Hinduties organise and perform in everything witj great enthusiasm. Hindu college's annual Fest "MECCA" is the best fest entire delhi university and students across the nation wish to attend it once.

Hostel Facilities

5

I have not opted for hostel but i have pretty good knowledge and information about hostels. Both the girls and boys hostel posses great infrastructure and facilities. Also, the girls was newly constructed a few years bacj and it is claimed to be the girl's best in any college of University with it's facilities being in par with any great hotel.

Alumni/Alumna

Each Student who is a part of hindu college be it a freshers, seniors or the alumni , they all are one of a kind. And that is the sole reason they have made it to Hindu. Everybody here is extremely supportive and we grow collectively and the compassion a hinduite posses for a fellow is overwhelming.

Admission

Admission process was a bit tiring as a first timer for me and freshly outo of school kid. But the procedures undoubtedly aims at making the candidate self sufficient and to be able to come out of the nutshell and the protective layer of parents and family. Here during admission , candidate has to do everything on their own without taking any from family members and parents which at first seems to be scary but is a great thing to do. It includes registering on the websites and then continuously checking the cutoff lists issues by all the colleges and then appearing in the college for the admissions once you become eligible as per you percentage of boards results and cutoff lists issued.

Faculty

4

Faculty in the college is highly qualified and dedicated and supportive as well. But faculty in humanities and commerce is much more better than faculty in science departments. Yet, hindu is famous for it's great faculty network.

Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
