Remarks

All is positive obviously since i am a student in this institution. My institution made me to feel like everyday is beautiful just because of friendly campus and more opportunities to show our talents. Because of my friends and good lecturers i felt so blessed to be in this institution. So i recommend other people's to join our college to feel the thing which i felt. Not negative but not feel good about one thing is there is no opportunities to represent ourselves individually in whole college

Course Curriculum Overview

It's really a great experiences and lessons to get taught about course curriculum in our college. It was really nice and useful. Actually for me exams are more peaceful days than normal days because of the confidence i have that i have had done with exam portions almost(not fully), obviously labs were less stressed than classes. Because in lab we were use to study everything related to our branch practically so.

Placement Experience

Placements in our college is ok ok. Placements are more happening for CSE & ISE branches in our college. Our college won't offer or provide any internships but they conduct workshops and seminars in a while.

In our college the main event is AAKRITI. its a college main fest which happens once in a year in may month follwed by four days of different cultural activities. Before to one month of fest there will be flashmob which is conducting to launch fest poster. And one more beautiful grand event is KANNADA RAJYOSTHSAVA which is a celebration of Karnataka state and its language, culture, heritage. also dasara. teachers day. individual department fests and so many internal function

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure of admission from 2015 to 2016 is - College fees- 25500 Cet fees -55000 Total 80500 Fees structure of admission from 2017 is - College fees-30500 Cet fees- 59500 Total 90000 Yes. Fees is comparatively okok. But yes expensive for us (people who are from villages like me).

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship or loan from our college. But they're treating academic toppers of every sem with one small gift, thats it, definitely there is no availability of loan's to any students in any form. As they only demand us to complete our fees due within first month of academic sem.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are highly appreciated and supported in our college as obviously most of the students participate in it without hesitation. Sports labs canteen are so developed and maintained. Gender ratio is in unequal distribution rate. Girl count is more than boys, there is no issues with sexualities, religion, race and ethnicity. Definitely there is no politics in between our college students. Economic status won't matter in this generation i think.

Hostel Facilities

No. I am in relatives home since my native is too far. But from outside our college hostels looks so developed by infrastructure. Our college hostels have many Unions to celebrate many functions to showcase many hidden talents of hostellites. As i don't even have hostel friends i don't know much about it. Yea that's it

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We don't have much idea about aluini and senior students. As in our branch there is no such meets happen usually. So i don't know much. But i hope there must be some alumni association and senior junior interaction so that it may helps regular students to develop in terms of Technology and orientation towards job sector.

Admission

Through options entry in KEA web by written test in CET. IN EAST WEST INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY its necessary to pay the college fee 30500 in college bank and must pay CET fees 55000 TO KEA BOARD at the time of official seat confirmation. This is the simple and quick method

Faculty

They're good i must say. In our college almost all students who got admission are all about CET ranking 25000+, so its risk for faculties too to get all them to score a good marks. But still our college lecturers has made them possible to give their best. Every faculty in our college are done with BE MTECH Bed. Some were done with their phD too. Our college facilities are more interested in their particular subjects but they are willing to learn new new topics to teach different topics to us

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good

Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

It's a good clg out clg is underrated

I only applied to this in management as my cet rank was bad and choose this clg because they take less fee compared to other big colleges and it's near to my home and no traffic only 10 minutes away it's easy to go and cm. I didn't apply to any other colleges as I had already made up my mind to admit in this college,that was really near to my place. Any students completed with 2nd pu and a kcet or cometk exam must, can admit to east West clg. But the fee might differ according to the obtained marks.The most students prefer is to join from kcet.The present cutoff in this college is 30,000.
