Remarks
Delhi University is quite prestigious and it's an honor to be a part of it. The teaching staff and infrastructure is also really good. Getting admission is also quite difficult and very few students from across the country are admitted to the colleges. The university provides various different courses from which the students can choose from. Also, The Hansraj College is among the top 5 colleges for graduating in computer science. It also provides a great opportunity to come across students from different regions of the country with different backgrounds and beliefs to come in contact with each other and study together, which teaches us a great deal .
Course Curriculum Overview
In my opinion the curriculum of my college is quite good as compared to different colleges. The syllabus is updated after every few years so as to not make anything orthodox. Everything thats new in the field is being taught to is so as to keep us at par with the industry. And the faculty deserves a whole lot of credit for this. The faculty is updated with the latest researches and development in their field and try a great deal to share their knowledge with the students. For an example I would like to tell about one of our teachers named Mr. Manoj Agarwal. He is an extraordinary teacher and his way of teaching is noteworthy. He shares everything that he knows and tries to reach us new things both from the field and from outside the field.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities provided by the college is remarkable. Their is a society called the placement cell that is responsible for getting the students jobs. Anyone who need a job just need to get enrolled in the society. Then the society helps them making their CV, getting ready for the interview. The society is also linked up with various companies which recruit these students. Many big companies and new start ups are called by this society to recruit students.
College Events
As many of us would agree on, the campus life of the Delhi University is awesome. One could never get bored their. The society culture is very popular in the colleges. Every College has various societies related to general awareness or helping the unprivileged or for studies. All of these societies carry out various cultural fests and events across the year in which one can participate to develop communication skills, leadership, team work and many other qualities needed in the daily life. In addition these societies educate ua in different ways and help in an all round development.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is kinda great. Proper facilities are being provided to us in every form. The labs are really nice with latest computers. The library has all the books needed for the course as well as various novels and books of other genres. The classroom are well lit and with good ventilation. Hostel facility is also great.
