Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was structured in a way to provide all the basic knowledge in the 1st year and then from second year the specialization which you took. The course imparted more than 50% of the industry knowledge that will be helpful in getting the on campus placement. From 2nd year onwards, industrial visit was there.
Placement Experience
Below is the list of some reputed companies: NTPC ONGC BHEL QUALCOMM TATA INDUSTRIES INTEL Generally there are cutoffs in terms of CGPA and if your grades are above the cutoffs then a written/online exam is conducted followed by interview rounds. About 90% students get the placements every year and rest of them either go for higher studies or any competative exam. Placement cell provide special lecture and presentation to teach the students about the structure of the placement process.
College Events
There are different fest for all the above mentioned category: Effervescence for cultural and Management fest. Aparoksha for Technical fest. Rannkshetra for Management fest. All the fest are quite big in numbers and close to 5k students take participation every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My program fees was 1. 33 lakh/year which I have payed in form of DD. There are no additional feescfor your curriculum. No, the admisson takes place purely through JEE MAINS and no other type of money is required to get the seat. Yes, college provide all the breakdown in terms of fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes college provide scholarship based on the annual income of your parents. Annual income of your household must be less than 5 lakhs. Average scholarship received was 80000 per year by a student.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was 100:70 for male and female. There were different parties which is organised by different clubs like freshers, farewell and a lot which includes individual club parties. In terms of sports also there are lot of facilities which students use and enjoy.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I was staying in hostel. Hostel room was two sharing, the room was quite small but the facilities was good as there was wifi which was good and common bathroom. Annual charge of 1. 33 lakh including hostel and tution fees and 2500 per month for food. Quality of rooms and cleaning facilities are good and food are good.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are very helpful and they will help you in every possible way where you need them. I have seen visiting lot of alumni which are very successful and also provide network to the student.
Admission
I have given JEE MAINS and got this college from that entrance exam. In counselling, youhave to fill the college and course (specialization) also. Then according to rank an individual get the seat. I have done a lot of research and took advice from our relative and senior also and then choosed this college.
Faculty
There were about 70 lecture of each subject we had in our course. The average age of the teacher lies between 40-50 and all the faculty hold PHD degrees. The faculty is very knowledgeble and they were able clarify every doubts which students have. In between they also provide industry function and how we will play our part there.
