Remarks

Overall college is good. If you be sincere and put in your efforts and the college will not fail you and neither will any of its staff. A little work is needed in the placement sector and probably gems would originate.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is quite good, very knowledgable, more emphasis on pratical knowledge rather just theorizing the whole concept. Exams are conducted fairly and just, Not very much research driven. DU(Delhi University) helps you become pros in the field you opt for. A lot is on your own hardwork and dedication.

Placement Experience

3

This is the only sphere in which my college is not upto the mark. Placement cells have been made but are not very active. Not many companies contact our college maybe due to less strength of students but still one never know where a diamond would be found. I believe my college should work more on the placement sector of our college.

College Events

5

Freshers party - Very welcome of new students is celebrated. Diwali mela - a little fest to bring on the colorful lights and lit up the college with a little music. Deparmental Fests - Every department holds a fest, many activities are performed in those fests. Annual fest - An yearly college fest. considered to be the most grand with guests from other colleges too on great level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of DU is quite feasible. The highest is 26000 per year and lowest would be 8000 per year. The courses do not take fees for each and every semester rather it takes fees for each course annually. Fees is very low. Student has to pay a few percent of the actual fee and the rest is paid by the government i. e. funded by it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. Fees is very low in DU. A middle class even lower ones can afford the fees of this course.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is good. Events keeps on happening now and then. Gender ratio is approximately 4:3. Many extracurricular activities such as volleyball, basketball, chess, football, table tennis are there. college is equipped with Compuer lab, ICT lab, psychology lab, physics lab, chemistry lab. Many societies are there too for growth and development. Diversity can also be seen among students as many international students have been taking the priviledge of my college in a very healthy environment.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, Seniors are very helpful. They guide us at every step if asked for guidance. They provided me with the books and study materials. Even with links of videos that I would find very helpful and related to my course. They help feel at home.

Admission

I got admission through Merit list as that is how it goes for the course I opted. Took admission in july 2017. The process is pretty simple. Based on class 12th marks, for every course a cut off i. e. a minimum requirement of marks is set. Du releases many such cut offs on a time period of 3 days. After each cut off a student has around 3 days to take admission. I took admission in 3rd cutoff.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of my college is indeed very good. Teachers are very supportive to those who really wants to do well. Helps is available at every corner. The non-teaching staff is helpful too. helped me with numerous things. Library is maintained properly and staff is helpful.

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
