In 12 May 2017 I apply for admission in Delhi university(DU.ac.in) and DU release cut off list for individual college on 25 June i reached college on 27 June in morning lot of students are their and helping desk.is also their for admission related query and all the student going to their respective department where teachers provide a form .in this form we must attach our mark sheet migration character certificate and choice for general elective subject finally at 4 PM I confirmed my admission and got slip of fee. And I prefer hindu over other college because of it's well known fame and positive review of pass out seniors. Among all the college .only in hindu college their is a parliament for which elections held in college in September every year..and in my department all the teachers are very helpful . And the mobile network problem is the only problem in hindu college . college give opportunity to students for internships and their is a placement cell i.e. Disha in Hindu coll

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose chemistry honors because I am extremely interested in chemistry specially organic. In hindu college all the faculty are so helpful and done his/her Ph.d. either from DU or IIT and their is two chemistry lab in my department each lab capacity is 45 -50 all the teachers all very good in their respective subject and takes his class regularly and one more thing I want to add my college principal is from chemistry department and she also takes the class . Teachers are very helpful .some teachers are very strict . And know September or October teachers takes internal exam (10+10+5) 10 for test 10 for assignment or presentation or 5 Mark's for attendance and then college provides students mid semester break and after that in December our semester exam (75 marks) held which was not so easy . And sometimes its easy and after one month i.e. around 15 Jan DU releases results ..from 1 January new semester starts and in this semester lots of department and college fest are held in all college.

Internships Opportunities

4

In hindu college lots of internships opportunities available via direct teachers recommendation or internship society . I completed my 2 weeks training on 'Determination of particulate matter and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in ambient air at an industrial site in Delhi ' from 18-31 December 2017 .and some other students successfully done his internships at Hbcse and tifr institute. And in some other IITs . And college itself provide internship opportunities in their labs in summer vacation. In which a students can learn a lot of things and some other internship opportunities is also provided by CSIR Delhi, teachers helps students and sometimes gives stipend also.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements of hindu college are very nice. Top companies collaborate with the placement cell of our college and a lot of students gets placed. Last year the avg.package was around 7.46 lpa. Major recruiters are EY, deloitte ,BcG, PwC , Accenture, ZS associates. Highest package for 2019-20 was 29 lpa and 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. 34% students from arts. 19% students from science. And 47% from commerce got placed last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Is depend on course which you choose approx fee in hindu college is around 20k. And college provides lots of scholarship inspire. Student aid fund tuition fee waiver for economically weak student for department topper and university topper their is a separate scholarship and when I was in my 2nd year their is a conflict between DU faculty and vice chancellor because he decided to being college autumn but after lots of teachers strike VC shuts his plan.

Campus Life

5

Annual fest of hindu college is known as Mecca ..and mecca knows as biggest and enjoful fest among all the college of DU this fest is organized by parliament of hindu college in march and also their was a science fest and literature fest. In hindu college their is a big library which have approx 7000 books and daily news paper availability in library in different languages . Each class capacity is around 100 students and some department has own ac in their classroom. So many sports society are their. inter and intra college tournament and hindu college have NCC naval wing NSS and many other 22 societies in different field, buniyaad society is a society for UPSC aspirant which organized many event in which they invite very well known bureaucrats and many Bollywood celebrities also visits the college.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
