Remarks

The overall atmosphere that they have created here in this college is pretty much as expected by a student now every student has a different aim and looks at the good/bad points of the college in a different way so that totally depends from person to person.

Entrance Preview

IIT-JEE, BITSAT, AIEEE, MHTCET and ENAT (Manipal)- 7478 did not qualify for any other good college and I had no other course options as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course structure is good enough in terms of understanding the concept not up to the mark when it comes to focusing on research selection of electives is based on the CGPA and people with higher CGPA usually fill the seats for more preferred elective.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not provide internship but it arranges for projects in the college itself if the student prefers to do it in college itself no stipend is provided for this.Companies come to the campus to provide internships with stipends also some students manage to get internships on their own outside college.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements and job opportunities are pretty good as much as compared to the best engineering colleges in India companies, Amazon, Microsoft, google, GE, Yamaha, honeywell, tcs, Wipro, infosys, IBM, Maruti, Goldman sachs and many more. Packages core packages go max upto 18L, average is around 6L and MRCs offer around 3-3.5L.

College Events

5

Technical festival every year, techtatva cultural festival every year revels other than these two main events there are many more events happening in the campus which are not fixed on annual basis but the plan is given at the start of that particular semester also pre-events of these main events are something to look forward to.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Compared to other engineering colleges in India and specially the government colleges, the fee structure is expensive but the facilities provided and the infrastructure justifies the extra amount of money they charge. Also the university has a good reputation in global terms which supports their idea of charging a higher price it keeps increasing every year 4 years back when I joined the college, the tuition fee was 1,75,000 per year plus the hostel fee, approximately 10-11L totally as of now it must be much more than this.

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont have much idea about this the only thing I know is that the top 1000 ranks in the entrance exam get a freeship (no tuition fee) for the first year and this freeship continues for all years if the student maintains a CGPA of 8.00 or above.

Campus Life

4.5

Comparing to the kind of life in any other engineering college, any student can have a better life in all aspects extracurricular, parties, workshops, gender ration, diversity, international students, labs, sports, robotics, debates. All of this is better than most of the other colleges as far as I know.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are much better compared to other colleges with the infrastructure and the kind of facilities provided. There are enough rooms to fit in all the students plus all options all available- single (ac/non-ac) and double (ac/non-ac) mess food is good in terms of hygiene but for obvious reasons becomes boring if you eat there every day.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network and senior students are very much helpful. They prepare you in the firs year itself how life is going to be for next 4 years, how to deal with it, the do's and the dont's and how to handle situation if you have done something which you were not supposed to do. All of this in terms of academics, hostel life, extracurricular or any other thing possible, they are always there to help.

Exam Structure

The structure consists of total 100 marks per subject in a semester first sessional is 20 markssecond sessional is 20 marks again 5 assigment tests (2 marks each) 10 marksend semester examination- 50 marks this is the stucture for every theory subject in all semesters. For labs there is one mid sem test and one end sem exam.

Faculty

4

There is specialized faculty for every subject most of them are PhD or minimum of masters in the subject they teach. The faculty is very much interested in helping students who are actually interested. Motivating and keen on students going to the research side and develop things rather than simply looking for jobs.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Banglore is well-known for its placement opportunities. The college not only has high educational standards but also offers competitive placement packages. Every year, the college retains a 100% placement record, with the highest selection package reaching up to 46 LPA and the median wage package being around 19 LPA, which are very good packages in contrast to many engineering colleges of such stature. Members of the college placement panel are also highly professional and have extensive industrial experience.
