Remarks

The combination of subjects for the course that I am pursuing is very unique. Additionally, there is liberty for the students to be a part of a number of activities and research alongside the general course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is up to date and the academics is good. Industrial visits alongside workshops and seminars are part of each semester. The faculty is cooperative. Personally, I love the way Ms. Proma Chakraborty of Garden City University teaches.

Placement Experience

3.5

Numerous job opportunities can be availed and the placement department constantly works with the students to get them placed. Alumni networking is excellent and GCU stays connected with their alumni.

College Events

4.5

The campus life is all about fun-filled learning. There are various celebrations where the students showcase their talent. The yearly event Gardenia is a huge national level event where renowned personalities are invited to be a part. Statehood days are celebrated, sports events are held, cultural fests take place, and the Management Trainee academy is the highlight.

Campus Life

The campus provides 2 libraries- reference and circulation, sports facilities, free Wi-Fi, hostel, and lab equipments. Spacious Auditorium and open theatre is also facilitated for various events. Highly equipped media lab is also available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.

The college is pretty much affordable and the quality of teaching is also good. On top of that, the faculty was vell qualified.
