Remarks

Manipal institute of technology is well known institute in India with its branches in Sikkim as well as jaipur. The institution is of top notch in academics, sports, facilities, research, culture and many more that is what drove me to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is well updated to industry standards. Enough industrial exposure is provided a whole year of internship project in an industry provides enough exposure.Very experienced faculties with more than 30 years of experience.

Many companies do visit our college from MNCs like Infosys,Wipro,tcs, cognizant, Bosch, TATA, Siemens and many more. There are famous alumni of our college like Satya Nadela Microsoft CEO along with Rajeev Suri, CEO of Nokia. Institute is good in job referrals with strong alumni networking throughout the country along with MoU.

College Events

Lots of events like techtatva a technical event for both ug and pg along with revels which is a intercollegiate cultural event the participation is huge about 500-1000 of them. All the cultural festivals like onam, Vanamahotsava and many more are celebrated.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is of top notch with a sports complex itself named Mareena which has 7 floor with each and every sports facilities, gym, swimming pool and many more. Well equipped labs, free wifi, huge library again with many floors.

Positive remark is we can explore so many things under single roof. They provide us HEALTH INSURANCE which is only benefits in their SAGAR hospital. Negative is little bit expensive when compared to other colleges. What ever This is my college and I'm proud of it.

Fun environment, Serious Studies.

Remarks:

The management is good and is always responsive to the student needs. A lot of the things in the college is student run so there is less interaction of ordinary students with the management. Every thing is done through the SAC (Students Activity Committee).

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. MIT manipal - a complete review(hostel, nightlife, fees, academics)

I chose this college because this was the best option I had among others that I got accepted into. Comparing to others, MIT has much lesser intake and a much better campus life. I made it into all the private colleges that I applied to, but not colleges like NIT and IIT Other colleges I got accepeted into are BITS, VIT, CET, LPU, Thapar. I didnt choose BITS because of the higher fees.
