UIET Genuine Review

I choose this college because Kurukshetra University is one of the oldest and best University of Haryana. It is A+ grade University given by NAAC. Campus is quite good and there is nice environment. There are lots of department and mostly every essential item is available inside the university (University Market). UIET was established in 2004 and it is third most prefer college in Haryana after NIT and YMCA. There are only four trades Avaliable here for BTech (Cse ECE Mechanical Biotech). Campus Placement is also good but average package is around 4 lakh. Students mostly placed in Infosys ViVo Tcs and if you're brilliant enough then you may even get PSU like BEL etc. Overall college and campus is great but now people preferred DCRUST Murthal more than UIET don't know why. In my opinion UIET is far better. Admission process is simple you just need a good rank (under 2 lakh) in JEE Mains and you can apply for counseling on www.hstes.org.in. If you are not selected in online counseling than you may go through physical counselling which is just 5-10 days after completion of online counselling.

There are almost 60-70 students in each class. The faculty is also good and mostly staff have master in there field and HOD of each department is PhD holder.There are only four trades Avaliable here for BTech (Cse ECE Mechanical Biotech).There are three sessional (mid term exam) in each semester and marks of best two are taken into account for final results. Sessional and exams are very easy to clear you just go through the previous year papers.

I applied for internship in Maruti Suzuki and India Steel. You may get training as supervisor, system engineer trainee etc depends on company to company. You may get training in quality department, welding department etc depending upon your choice

Campus placement is ok but not upto expectations. Highest package made was from Amazon 28lakh annually and Lowest package is 1.8 lakh annually Average package is around 4 lakh. Mostly people placed in Infosys ViVo Tcs BEL Wipro Yamaha

Life at Campus is quite good. There is University Market where every essential item is available. NIT and Brahma Sarovar is at walking distance. University has sports complex various restaurant, food hub, rose garden, park and there are also different language courses ( German, French etc.) SBI bank and ATM is also available inside the campus. There is central library which is the best part of campus. Annual fest of University such as Ratnawali (in October), youth culture fest and lots of other fests celebrated each year. Fest of different departments such as Excelsior (UIET in April), Milaap Alumni meet, Techfest etc.

You have to pay fees semester wise. Hostel charges (rent, electricity) is approx12000 yearly and college fees is 35000 per semester. Mess charges are on monthly basis depends on the menu and number of days you visit to mess. You can apply for scholarship in college administration office( room no. 225) if you are not in general category.

You have to fill hostel form which is available in University press. You have to share room in 1st year after that you may apply for single room. All hostel charges is 12000 annually except meal charge. Meal charge is approx 2500-3000 per month. Overall hostel environment is good. You get 1bed 1 table 1 chair and 1 electrical switch 1light 1fan in room

No I didn't face any Personal Interview or Group Discussion. You must have good rank in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains that is what all matters. For admission in CSE you must have under 1.5 lakh rank.
