I wrote entrance exam at Manipal university and I secured 4th rank in civil and engineering department.

Being a civil engineer one should know the value of structures so people should be good at structures. Based on tat I opeted this and now also it's helps me a lot to survive. because I work as a offshore structural engineer at one of the greatest firm in Bangalore

Internship they are offering but I was getting a stipend of 5 k based on my previous curriculum and present rank scored during entrance exam conducted at MIT.

Placements and jobs are more for computer science and different branches but it didn't happened much for structural engineering beanch. Only two companies had visited . And In that also very less means 1 or 2 people cleared.

There are many cultural activities happens within 2 years of span and also number of national and international conference happens at Manipal. and I have attend two at other two colleges there at one place once I awared the best national paper presentation and after college also convocation happend to us at 2010 and it was awesome .

Fee structure was affordable when I was there because I paid 1 lac at first year and same at the second year . And I was getting 5k stipend so little less burden for me. And now I heard they have increased little more but for the facilities they are giving it is reasonable.

I was getting a stipend of 5k every month. For tat I should have to take laboratory practices for undee graduate students. It's a good experience also for being a master degree holder.

College is actually a autonomous and paper valuation was very strict in spite of all tat I secured 9.54 cgpa and 9.38 at first year and in second year I score 10 out of 10 .. altogether my score was 9.7/10 .. and I was second highest out of 25 students .

Wrote exam and based on the ranking I got admission because I secured a 4th rank there . Then they called for alloting the seats. In that I have chosen structural engineering as option . They have cross verified my previous academics and after all that they asked me to pay a fee of 17.5 k at the instant and for rest they have given us 15 days time.

Yes faculty is good because in two years of span I met nearly 15 facilities and they thought me a good lesson. And they are all well qualified . And during my internship at second year I learnt a lot and very responsible lectures and they will take the initiative for every thing you expect in a good way .
