Remarks

I have applied for the 3 Colleges and I got Daulat Ram College in the first cut off. The admission criteria were very easy like first, they gather all of them in the lecture hall they tell us everything like what we have to do or which documents we have to take. Then they give us the number serial wise and call everyone by serial number .they were checking our mark sheet like if the documents are completely correct or not they checked our roll number and match the marks whether it is right or not when they told us to give our respective departments in which we have to seek admissions for. We go to the zoology department and they were taking max marks of 3 subjects that are PCB. Mine was 94% and the age was 17 years old.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I am much interested in animals. I love to know about the animals their behaviour their structure how they work what they eat their habitat everything that's why I chose zoology. The DRC faculty is incredibly beautiful inside and out. They have a rangshala ( a place where students sit and do fun together ) rangshala is beautiful .they have a cafeteria in very much space their garden area is way beautiful than anyone College has. College teachers are very dedicated to teaching they are very friendly as well as hardworking. The term exams are held every semester after 6 months the term exams held of every course and you can easily pass into them by studying your study material which was given by your teachers.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

There are many internships for business students. Course internship we can do an internship in the lab under the inspection of our teachers. Our internship is without a stipend. Like we can gain only knowledge these opportunities is for business students.

Placement Experience

0.5

Campus placement is for business students. Our course doesn't provide placements. From doing zoology honours you can opt for MSc from du if you are interested. If anyone got placements they got in their 6 semesters. My plans after getting a degree are to become a lecturer.

Fees and Financial Aid

The zoology Hons course in the first year was 16k, in the second year it was 15k and in the third year it was 14k they also take term examination fees every semester. Like 200 per subject and with practical it's 400. You can apply for many scholarships. which is provided by the government our faculty don't give scholarships. And if we talk about price hike policy there's no hike in fees structures. My course was zoology hons so in zoology hons there are not any placements opportunities. there are placements opportunities for BCom students or business students. Our faculty also has a placement club where students get placements.

Campus Life

4.5

Every college has their fest name, our college fest was known by "MANJARI". that experience was beautiful I can't express in words lots of curriculum goes, a celebrity comes and sing song different club show their talents. Fest conducted in January to March. You can be in any college with your DU I'd card. The College campus has a library in which every book is easily available. You can search books on Library's computer they show on which shelves the book is present. Our zoology classroom was beautiful our lecture theatre is extraordinary. The classrooms have Ac, water-cooler, table, chairs. The sports club has their separate area like the background of college they do their activities, games and so on. They also held sometimes extracurricular activities. Our college has different societies like " debonair"(fashion society), "Dhara club"(Eco club ) "Nss", "NCC" etc.

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
