Remarks

First of all i applied for Tharpar University. But since i didn't get the desired stream therefore i didn't paid the admission fee and dropped the idea of getting admission there. After that i applied for the haryana counselling which takes place after the JEE results are out.During the first round i got admission in UIET Kurukshetra and also got the desired stream so i paid the admission fee.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Well, some teachers are good educated and also teach well. Some teachers do not teach that well to be honest. But in the end, no matter what college it is you have to study on your own. Either you study from the books or with help of youtube it depends on you but self-study matters a lot in college. No teacher is going to spoon-feed you the topics. And when it comes to the exams, most of the question papers consist of previous year's questions and if you can solve previous year's questions you can definitely score well in your exams.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 77000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee was Rs.10000. The fees for the first semester were Rs.31000 and for the second semester, it was around Rs.36000.When it comes to Job placement companies Wipro is the only company that visits a lot for jobs.

Campus Life

College life is average because we don't have clubs and all that is common in other colleges but the time given to a student for self-development is much. The campus is big and attaches with NIT so its a place to roam but Kuk don't have anything else besides campus

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
