Remarks

BITS Pilani have amazing Alumni base succeeding in all kinds of fields ranging from Entrepreneurship to past CM of Maharashtra. I got a good branch ( electronics) so no second option came in mind. Their is a test exclusively conducted to enter this college named BITSAT. It is a computer based examination and score os shown as soon as you submit the test. Course Curriculum Overview

Most of them are PhD from foreign universities. I didn't studied much at campus so can't say much on quality but one thing is sure they don't force you to study. We had 0% attendance policy giving us freedom to choose where we want to spend out time.

Internships Opportunities

Their is one Practice School program in BITS Pilani as a part of curriculum. We go to internship in 2nd years summer break of 2 months. Then for 6 months in 4th year of college. I got to do decently paid Product Management Internship in a bengaluru based Edtech startup. I got not so good CG yet they gave me such a good internship.

Placement Experience

Student becomes eligible to opt for placements in 7th or 8th semester. Half the student sit in first sem and the remaining on the other. It's choice of students to opt for the sem. It is very tough to remain unplaced at BITS Pilani, you have to put in lot of hard work to not have any company give placement to you.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was 2 lakh tuition fees per sem. +20. Thousand for mess and hostel for the semester. Food is super good in breakfast and lunch, you will forget your home cooked food. Dinner is not that great you can eat on food outlets within campus. One scholarship is given one the basis of merit to students who parental income is below 8 lakh per annum. Even if you score average CGPA of 6 than you get 25% off in fees. As the CG increases to 7 it further gets increased to 50%. Above 8 it becomes challenging to score.and fees gets further reduced.

Campus Life

There are all kinds of clubs and departments managing various events ranging from Technical fest to India's second-biggest cultural fest Oasis with a budget of Rs 1.65 Crore, all managed by the departments.

Hostel Facilities

This is as good as a Hotel. You can yourself have a look on google maps. Washrooms are very well maintained.There are two sections to play sports within the hostel and they are as large as 4 volleyball courts.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Every company has its own way to select candidates. Ex- Coders Exp a coding test, can be easily prepared from any leading portal like GfG or Scaler academy's interview bit. Tier 1 Consulting companies giving 12-24 lpa may focus on group discussions Product Managers experience guestimates can be prepared from Case Interviews cracked youtube channel by IIT Bombay graduates working in BCG.

Likes

They are chilled and friendly to talk and ask
They are well behaved and well articulated
Casual in main sense and they are very well aware about condition of students

Dislikes

No one is in class during regular days of the week
It is easy to approach but in the end you have to visit the college for every issue or confusion
Most of them are well manner but some are just puthetic specially the head of examination department

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no one in class to teach you anything so it si altogether upon you whether you wonna study or not. I am a CA Finalist right not and since most of the things we have already stdies during are CA examinations we do not need to study them again but other are just left to study on there own since neither the students are interested to visit college neither the teachers nor the students since the college gives fake attendance to everyone. So it is only for those who are pursuing it for degree and are pursuing other engagements side by side. Here both Regular and Non-Regular are same just difference being that they need to give exam only once a year and we need to give twice.

Practical Tech Education with a Tight-Kint Community Feel

Likes

I like my hostel, accommodation is very nice
mess food is very tasty , scrumptious and homelike
the college is surrounded by greenery and breath taking nature!

Dislikes

The scorching desert heatwaves in the summer and chilling winter smog make walking across the vast, vehicle-free campus exhausting for a big chunk of the academic year.
Mandatory interdisciplinary projects and strict attendance policies leave little breathing room for students wanting to focus strictly on self-driven coding, competitive exams or independent side projects.
The campus is situated far off the highway in the industrial backdrop of Neemrana, there is virtually no social or city life right outside the gates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is industr-aligned with strong project-based learing and a mandatory final-year internship. Exams feature well-placed mid and end terms, though early theory subjects need more practical coding.

MY IMPRESSIONS ON THE UNIVERSITY OF FUTURE

Likes

The thing I liked the most is the nature around/in the campus.
The various options for sports and other outdoor activities.
The EAT system, which is better and healthier option for ACs.

Dislikes

A few meals on the mess menu are not that good.
Lack of normal-temperature water options.

Placement Experience:

NIIT UNIVERSITY placements rates are 100% and more important is that role fitment rate is also 100%. NIIT UNIVERSITY placements starts from 7th semister with Industry practice(IP). Many big companies come for the placements.

UNI OF FUTURE

Likes

Exposure via many known guests and personalities and experts of various fees that interact and share their opinion regarding many things with students.
Many clubs like shooting ,football,chess that are taken seriously here along with facilities for each of these sports
Opportunity to become volunteer for various fests organizing groups.

Dislikes

Water here is harsh in hostel, which causes a bit of hair fall.
Except for rooms and academic blocks heat during afternoon times is great if there are no clouds sometimes. Rest of times due to many trees its cool.
Strict gatepass system which ensures security of students but at same time troublesome for those who just wanna roam .

Placement Experience:

There are many exceptions here regarding placements and employbility. For interships students mainly start from their 3rd year but i know one student which is my senior that got an intership in their second year only since they had specific skills and colledge helped developing thier leadership quality and getting them the job

my college is very nice and all faculty members was very nice and very supportive , experienced, and very nice to teach to effective methods but interactive teaching methods could be increased overall it is a great place for learning

Dislikes

the college fees are quite high than the other colleges and considering the facilities , the fees seem higher than expected and reducing or restructuring the fees would make education more accessible

Placement Experience:

My college was very nice and provided wide range of couses and it is not get any placements but I am searching for job to both online and offlines and not many reuted companies visit the campus more focus on internships and any industry exposure is needed to improve placements

The system of gatepass in the university to going out from the college
The management of the university is very bad

From last semester you're eligible for campus placement and the companies like Amazon, cipla, hdfc bank, dcb bank, kaabil finance pvt ltd. Are visited the campus and about 40-50% students are get placement and the highest package is about 70lac and average package 12lac rupees companies and profiles offered I didn't know more about this and the percentage of students are placed about 50% and my plan after degree to continue my master's.

Likes

College infrastructure is very good as compared to other colleges

Overall the campus is good but is very small in size
Less events as compared to other colleges
Focuses on marks rather then practical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well structured and designed for students to learn the subject in detail and to know about topics in detail and make sure to understand things clearly before implementing them in real life. There are certain areas for improvement but they will keep get better. Timetable should be made such that students get break in between the classes so that they can be less exhausted throughout the day

An Honest Review of Academic and Campus Life

Likes

Knowledgeable and skilled professors with years of experience
The campus has very greenery vibes which is very pleasant
The class size of student are small which help in better teaching

Dislikes

No proper lab facilities for biotechnology subject
Very less teacher teach biotechnology as compared to other subjects
Fees is very high as compare to other subjects in the same university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is quite good in term of relevance. It is well structured and have all the topics covered which are required for Master’s students to know. The subjects are divided which students can choose according to them each semester.

Likes

Infrastructure is very good it looks very awesome and also have optimum space for playing and studying outside
All facilities are available inside campus including canteen and all
No disturbance faculty is very cooperative and knowledgeable

Dislikes

Mess food with bad taste and repeated food
Place is not good for lazy man too much work and very hard course
Outside of campus very restricted and traffic area

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester placement are available Agrotech, agrostars, mushroom products etc. companies are available here for interview based placement I got about 6-7 offers for joining Package depend on your skills and knowledge and also your semester that you have read in current average package is 2.5-3.5 lacks For good placement you have score above 7.5 ogpa For preparation of ICAR pg exam is my next goal

The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . Honest BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) Review

I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
