At the time of admission you just need to submit your documents like 12th marksheet 10th marksheet domicile certificate caste certificate if applicable migration certificate income certificate (latest one) and some few more, there will be only verification of documents no counseling or interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B.A prog because I wanted to prepare for civil services with political science as optional, political science department of Ramjas college attracted me towards the college. Faculty is very helpful and supportive they'll take your doubts seriously all you need to do is focus on what they are teaching in class their lectures are more than enough for scoring goods marks. Student are active you will never see college empty everybody is engaged in some activity. Teachers are highly qualified all are PhD holders with more than 10yrs of teaching experience. Every yr du release their central time table for exams and Holidays at the beginning of the year and this schedule is followed very strictly by colleges in short exams are always on time I have personally not seen any delay in that. Passing is not difficult at all it's actually easy just focus on key points tought by teacher and make notes you will definitely pass with good marks.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
