Remarks

For taking admission to this college, we need to clear Jee Mains with at least a rank under 10,000 to get a decent branch for the general category students. Then through JOSAA counselling, we can get into the process of admission. Being a government college, there are reserved seats for OBC, SC, ST, Differently abled students. Students of SC, ST, Differently abled category have very minimal fees of around 16000 per year excluding mess fees. In the admission process, it would be very helpful if any helpline number is provided or a platform to know about all the documents and procedures in a detailed manner.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have an interest in Business related stuff along with the new technology and that motivated me to take IT-BI as my branch. We usually have a class of 120 students with 1 professor and 2-3 Teaching Assistants. The faculty are very nice and helpful. Rest depends on your interests. If you want to study really well then yes, they provide you with a lot of opportunities. Teaching methods of some are very common and some have very strict methods which helped us to know about that course in much detailed way. We have exams 3 times in a semester. C1(30)+C2(30)+C3(40) equals a total of 100 marks of the semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

Most of the companies coming for placement gives internship opportunities with a good stipend. Usually, roles offers are SDE. Each student has his own software project and some also have their startups including Shubhwed of my batch.

Placement Experience

4.5

We can get placements from the 7th semester. Companies like Google, Sprinkler, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Flipkart and a long list of visits for campus placements. The average package gets increased every year with 24L as an average package of the 2021 batch and around 28L as average package of the 2022 batch. 100% of students get placed. Mostly I will be taking the placement during my 7th semester and will join it after my degree gets completed.

Fees and Financial Aid

If we compare the fees with IIT's or NIT's or other engineering colleges then we have fewer fees than them. It costs us around 1.5 Lakhs for a year. The hike rate is fixed i.e. 10%. Scholarships based on your state can be accessed easily. Placement statistics is really very good. It is much much comparable to old IIT's.

Campus Life

4

The cultural annual fest is in the month of October named Effervescence. And technical fest id in the month of march named as Aparoksha. We are able to get all our course related books in the library. Classrooms are fully air conditioned with proper light and ventilation. There is a sports fest in the month of February named Asmita. We usually play squash, TT, Carrom, Snooker in our daily routine. Football, Basketball, Cricket, Lawn Tennis courts are also there. Swimming activities are also available. Literary society, dance soc, music soc, fine arts, photography societies are there. Also in terms of technical societies, we have GDSC, Gravity which promotes innovation, Tesla which promotes electronic projects. IIIC is a group where people get funding and mentoring for their startups.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Rooms are spacious with a fan, light, window, cupboard. The meal quality is good. It is compulsory to take college hostels so, there is no need for registration. Hostel fee is included in our usual college fees. The girl's hostel is inside the college campus and the boy's hostel is just opposite the main gate of the campus.
