Remarks

I took admission in 2018 at 6th cutoff in Hansraj College of Delhi University. I was just waiting for the cutoff to decrease so that I can take admitted in the reputed colleges. I was eligible for both Kirorimal as well as Hansraj college but with different courses. So I prefer Hansraj college after thinking a day and opting for Bsc. Life Sciences. When I went to college for taking admission there are a lot of helpdesk at the entry gate of colleges so I had faced no such problems in getting forms or in finding rooms. I just filled form and made my documents verified and get a roll no. on the same day after verification. That feeling of finally getting admission was best at that time. I have a reservation certificate by GOI so I enrolled easily without any hectics. Just one problem was there waiting in line for verification of documents but that's worth your wait after clearance.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose Bsc life sciences because it met my eligibility and an option to study in the reputed college of Delhi University. Also, I have an interest in the subjects of my course that is offered. Faculty members are good except few ones. Most of the faculty members are helpful and soft-spoken. There are both permanent and temporary faculty members. Some members are aged and have a good experience. Their teaching method is also very good and made concepts clear in mind. The exams were held semester wise and the level of papers is not a hard nut to crack. One who attends classes and makes notes easily passed the exams. The other one who just wants to chill on campus and not attend classes also passes the exams by studying previous years' papers as it contains all the most important questions. And most questions repeat every year.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Companies came every year and hire students with good stipends. Also, the internship forms circulated in social media groups of college students. One who is interested can apply there and get a certificate. Some internships are unpaid also which gives only certificates. And I have seen these types of unpaid internships in the colleges which give no money but experience.

Placement Experience

2.5

Campus placement after basic courses is not easy to get. Bcom students get placements from campus with ease if have skills and perform better. There are a lot of companies visited in the colleges to hire students. I have no clear data of students who have placed from my colleges so i can't say about it. Many students have different plans after graduation and some change their plans at the end of final year. But one thing is there talented students from the delhi university do great in their life if having talent and uniques skill. To prove this, you can search for the aluminies of the university.

Fees and Financial Aid

Most of the colleges with basic courses have not many fees just 10-15 thousand approx but in my case or Hansraj college, they have slightly up in fees structure according to my opinion. University also gave notices of different scholarships every year to make economically weaker students study on campus. It is difficult to say that all students get campus jobs after graduation as I have seen only BCom or any skilled ones get campus jobs.

Campus Life

4

Life in campus is the most loving one in your college year. The years you spend here are memorable ones. In my opinion, all fun are on the North campus. If anyone wants to enjoy campus life just take admission to the North campus as it has many things or destinations to enjoy. The best part is the Fest that everyone waits for. Fest in North campus is worth attending if you are a college student. Fest are held in Feb or march month and at that time everyone is in high josh even including faculty members. There is a lot of money spend on infests as per colleges. Library is also a good and peaceful place for students who want to study in college. The availability of books and journals is also good. Books for one topic with different authors were also there. Sports activities are also there in every college and timely events and competitions are held with great energy. Grounds are also maintained well for playing games like cricket and football etc. There are many societies run by students.

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
