Remarks

At my time I get selected in the merit list but now you have to give entrance to CUET to get admission. You can find all the details of the reservation and admission process on the official websites of du and pgdav colt.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I like computer science. The faculty is good and supportive and well qualified and the course is divided into 8 semesters in my time this was of 6 semesters changed due to the new education policy. After every 6 months, a semester exam will be taken and in that duration, you have your internal exam as well as practicals.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 44000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

You can opt for any scholarship that is provided for any du college. You get your tuition fees back if you are eligible for that scholarship. You can get the details of all scholarships on the pgdav official website.

Campus Life

The library is very big. All the books on your subject are present in sufficient quantity. The sports and society of college are one the best group in entire du circuit. This college has its own hip-hop music society called Rapbeats which was not present in most of the college. As society is well developed you get plenty of opportunities in your fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Some knowledge some confusion

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
