Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to get into the IT sector but I don't have enough marks in JEE to get into a good governmental engineering college so I opted for BSc (h) Cs. The faculty of this college is highly qualified and very helpful towards students. Every 6 months end semester exam happens.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

From 3rd year we are eligible for the campus placement. The highest package offered was 32Lpa and the lowest was 3Lpa many companies visit for campus placement like Accenture, Deloitte etc. I probably planning to pursue a master's after completion.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are pretty high for this course(because this course is self self-financing course) but if you compare it to btech it's much lower. There are many governmental scholarships that can cover the fees and colleges also provide fee concessions to Ews students.

Campus Life

The annual fest is amazing it is conducted probably in January and February. It's a two-day fest consisting of many competitions, functions etc. There is also conducted sports day every year. There are many societies in this college and clubs like Satark, techwiz, and GDSC(Google Developer Student Club).

Admission

I got admission to CUET (Central University entrance test). In the first round college was allotted, and students from commerce and PCM backgrounds are eligible to peruse this course the competition is very high

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Some knowledge some confusion

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. PGDAV is Prestigious!!

St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
