Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I was a good student in social studies from my class 10th so I was always passionate to join the course related to it. Yes there is a very good scope of u study history as your course u can pursue postgraduation in it.The course curriculum is decent but the faculty members are so good all have done specialization in their subjects. The frequency of the exam is generally 1 hour and the timing is 9 to 10 in morning.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our tution fee is decent.last year our principal was increasing our fee but the students union not let them do it .My course fees is 12000 per year and there are other charges also like library charges which is 500 per month . The scholarship called student aid fund is there to help poor students financially. The placements are decent and u can gain experience as intern and u will get stipends of around 5000.

Campus Life

3.5

The most favourable month for the fests is October and November many fest are being held such as Diwali Mela etc.the Library facilities are very good u can easily find any book of your course or any competitive exams book . The classrooms have smart tv and projectors to provide technical education. The sports facilities are really good our sports department head is Mr balwinder Singh sir recently our cricket team has won a tournament. There are very social groups run by students they also organise various seminars of their respective societies.

Admission

The course iam pursuing is history honours for this u should have history subject in your class 12 . The exam for cuet is conducted by nta (national testing agency) and the registration forms are open for this . The application dates are till 28 March . Yes if u belong to a specific category then u will definitely get reservation benefits. The timing of exam is of one hour and the difficulty is moderate. No the admission process is perfect.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
