In my course they teach me about the current situation of AI and also teach me the modern software how they are working like social media and providing us a platform where I connect with people and make good connection that helps us to get us good placements opportunities The difficult level in this exam is modrate you can easily crack if you study 2 to 3 months and every day 4 to 5 hours you can achieve it

Internships Opportunities

The company that provides internships opportunities is HCL Paytm and pWC and Wipro they provide internships opportunities with stipends and also they make members of so many different projects that give you great opportunity if you perform great even they offered you a permanent job for you

In your 4th to 5th samester you can get the placement opportunities in your college There are many companies that come and offering jobs like Paytm HCL and Deloitte and many more companies come during placement Out of 10 students they selected 6 to 7 students I can go for job or maybe I can start my own startup

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is about 12k per year and there is other charges like examination fee at each and every samester is about 1.5 k and like approximately the completion of this course is around 45k to 50k..! You can get Scholarships opportunities if you achieve 70% marks in your samester exam then you can get 50% to 60% scholarship There are many companies come and recruit from our colleges so there is good opportunity available about placement

Campus Life

The annual and technical festival is a one of the great experiences in the college life there are many artists come and perform during this festival and students really enjoy it There are available of all kinds of books and magazines also available in college library and also newspapers is there

Admission

You have to study Accountancy in your class 12th and also English this thing are required to get in this course Application forms released by NTA at every year in month of march There are reservation benefits for OBC SC/ST and PWD students If you put 100% in your class 12th you can easily crack this exam and get in the college Paper is moderate to easy

JESUS & MARY COLLEGE - AN UNDERRATED GEM

Likes

Jesus & Mary College is known for its serene and clean campus. The infrastructure is well maintained and any issues regarding it are promptly addressed.
This college brings students from diverse background together which promotes a holistic development for all . The crowd of JMC stands out again , the students specialise in different sports, art styles and other soft skills .
The BVOC department offers two courses i.e healthcare management and retail management which are practical and designed to help students discover their potential in respective fields.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

Likes

they teachers are very approachable and helpful
the environment of the college is really friendly and lively
the college does not have any such cases of bullying

Dislikes

the college needs to have more facalty for the students
the college needs to focus more on events
the college needs to renovate itself according to new technologies

they course curriculam is quite interesting as my course reatil management and it is a very new course it is very mordern in terms of subjects subjects such as e commerce, reatil display, cargo, etc the couse helps in understanding retail with mordern ways.

Placement Experience:

From the second year people are eligible for internships and placements. Our course and college offers very well placements as compared to other colleges in terms of the industry exposure. My plan is to do the 4- year course and then do a job for 1-2 years then start my own business while pursuing masters degree

The auditorium or we say av hall in av hall we attend seminars counselling which is good for us
The receptionist takes good care and talk politely
The faculties are awesome they are very talented and supportive

Dislikes

The classroom are not well maintained .
The fans in classroom or the boards they should maintain them
And during summers we hate suffer suffocating so ventilation should improve

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is actually quite good I have seen the some of the top hospital to take our college students in them so They will provide placement to everyone the minimum package is around 3-4lacs I don't know about the highest till now

My experience as a first year student in CVS, DU

Likes

The only college providing vocational courses
College has a girls common room and boys common room
The locality is also good, flats and pgs are easily available and also food is easily accessible

Dislikes

New building has not yet been opened despite the construction has been completely
Exam timings for the students pursuing vocational course are 2:30 to 5:30 which makes it too hot in summers
There are a lot biasness over cast aspect

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm pursuing Human resource management and as I have mentioned before CVS is the only college providing vocational courses. The reason I chose this course is it is skill based and also i wanted to have a career in HR field. The comprehensiveness and understanding of this subject is quite good, it covers topic that one studies in his or her MBA. Their are areas that need to be improved like practical applicability of the subjects that we are taught, the college should take initiatives to let students use the learnings in a real world scenario by providing them internships or by taking them to corporate visits. The exams are conducted semester wise and their difficultly level is moderate. The exam timings for vocational courses is 2:30-5:30 p.m

from the 5th semester, you become eligible for placements. Maruti, Hyundai, Shriram pistons, Merceds benz, daimalier, Honda, Behl, Gail, 100+ more companies. 5LPA to 15 LPA is the offered package. 98% of students receive placements annually. My plans are to study abroad after this.

The placements are very good, Placement cell regularly organizes placement drives, and companies like ktmg, amazon, TCS are invited for the drive. A large population of students sitting for the placement drive get placed with a good package. Students can sit for internships in the second year. The highest package made in my course was 7 lakh per annum. About 93% percent of the students get placed.
