Likes
- I like the campus as it is really big with canteens for students who don't bring food with them
- Library access is what i love the most about the college as they have very peaceful environment also have a wide range of books.
- Sports opportunities in here people who are actually interested in sports are provided with opportunities and skills it also have sports courts and playgrounds.
Dislikes
- Timing of library it don't open on Saturday on which we have only 1-2 class with lot of gaps in between during which if a student want to study in library then its not possible.
- Societies in colleges sometimes charges a lot of money in names of events and Society fund lack.
- Groupism in classes due to family background and looks.
Course Curriculum Overview
In term of relevance I'll say that there are many topics which should not be taught as they are way too old and contradicting in modern times. New tumes problems and solutions should be taught in replace focusing on present.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm paying around 28000? for ba honours history in Delhi university which is a government university so the fee is bit high for that...our class strength is around 60 so thats a good thing professors are able to focus on most of us And about reservation criteria it works but Cuet score also matters at first place But i want say that hostel fees are very high for someone from poor and even middle class background to afford! Its reaching upto 1.8lakh annually which is absolutely very costly. Other the environment here is very nice professor are good at there job and it provide good co curricular exposures too. Thanks
Campus Life
We have the annual fest known as Mecca which is one of the largest fest in DU In monthly basis many events takes place There are facilities of projectors in classrooms which are very helpful for presentations. Sports and extracurriculars are very good offered by campus There are many student bodies who run social groups such as Disha organization in our college.
Admission
Well i didn't applied for any other university other than Delhi university as i was pretty sure about my score that ill get into it also as its a government university also ranks top for the courses i didn't thought of any other college.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite low to good for the reason of efficiency. And they all are pretty approachable and friendly in nature. I like the faculty of arts the most professors here are actually very chill. I didn't like the faculty of science not because of any stream difference but because of there less approachable nature. There are two final sem exams only which are quote easy only if you study but with provided readings and class note it is easy.
Night Life
We don't have gym in our campus but we have 2 canteens and one big library. Library opens around 9 in morning and close at 5 in evening There are many auditoriums and amphitheater for performances and events Hostel timing is about 10pm in night Campus is open till 6-7 in evening
