Course Curriculum Overview
Some subjects might be irrelevant but mostly possess a good knowledge of Statistics useful for anyone planning to go in this line. The exam difficulty level is not too much. Every question is covered in the class but the course is too much and it becomes very difficult for students to grasp all that since mostly are theorums which are hard to understand and memorise.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee for the college is very decent with only Rs 17000. It is feasible for wvery low income families to teach their students in this college. The placements are not too good. For instance regarding my course only 2-3 companies come each year and takes 1-2 students at max which is very less. So that surely needs some improvement. Apart from this, for scholarships I have no idea.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are the best thing in the college. We have a number of socities covering each and every aspect of curriculars including Dance(traditional and western seprate), singing, drama, instrumental and a lot more.
Admission
In my attempt, it depended on the 12th marks. For the statistics course the cutoff was 96%. And statistics is offered in very few colleges and has high cutoffs generally. There was no entrance exam as such.
Faculty
With a total of 150 students in the statistics department, there are around 10 teachers which is a good number. Our department consists of bery experienced teachers with over 15 years of experience and teaches really well. They make sure the concept is crisp and clear to us.
