What Students Say

Likes

The college is good also we get classes on time.
The campus of delhi university is so clean.
The teachers are also so co-operative and helpful.

Dislikes

We dont get time to time updates about our course.
The college take a lot of time to declare our result.

Course Curriculum Overview

The only reason to choose Bachelor of arts is that I am preparing for govt exams and also I have done my matrics in humanities so I found the course so compatible according to my study background, the college also conducts classes for our course but in an irregular manner, they should improve their regularity in classes.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees for the course is appx. 10k for the single year which I found so affordable for a middle-class person major of the students can afford the fees but the college should have to think about the financially weak students and they have to introduce an academic policy for all students that they should create a criteria that whoever is getting good marks should be rewarded financially.

Campus Life

I am an open student as I mentioned in my previous points. I only go to college to appear in my exams so my exam centres change every semester but I have to say that they should have to improve their washrooms.

Admission

The admission process was not so complicated and also there was no such kind of exam for getting into the college. all over it's kind of easy to get admission to the open college of Delhi university but if you have to get admission to a regular college you have to clear an entrance exam called CUET.

Faculty

The faculty is so cooperative, helpful and friendly in nature. I am a distance student so I reach out to the college only when I have my semester exams so I connect to faculty only for some days but overall they are so good and respectful.

A Day at College

Likes

Affordable fee structure that makes higher education accessible to students from different financial backgrounds.
Flexible learning system, allowing students to manage their studies alongside other responsibilities.
Opportunity to pursue a degree from delhi university through open and distance learning.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for regular classroom interaction and face to face engagement with teachers and fellow students.
Students pursuing distance learning may need to rely more on self-study and independent preparation
More regular communication, student support, and interactive academic activities would improve the overall learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Overall best

Likes

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

KMC in my words

Likes

I liked the environment and the crowd of the college, and also my professors. Like seriously they are so helpful and kind
Also what I like about this college is that it's liberal unlike other colleges of North campus
I love the ashoka lawn and the big ground in front of the gym

Dislikes

I hate the staff, especially the technical staff ( Ankita Jain ), I went to her with erp portal issue and she just didn't look after my issue properly and sent me away. It was totally unexpected. She must be removed from her position.
The canteen staff, I didn't like their behaviour
Some of the seniors are shit and not helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 9 out of 10. The reason is simple, whatever my professors teach and everything that is there in my syllabus is really helpful for my future. Not just that, they way lectures are delivered by the professors is just awesome
