Course Curriculum Overview

4

y course is BA ENGLISH HONS, I thought that this is a know that course which doesn't matter in our future because earlier, actually I wanted to choose political science Hons, but I got this eng hons. I was not happy at the time but when I read this course and got into this, I used to enjoy this because it's a nice course I guess. We have gone to another world while we read our course novels, poems, etc. We have so many thoughts, ideas, and experience. We get another perspective like we get an extra imagery power and that's the best thing that I have enjoyed in this course. I get new friends who are very helpful and teachers who too are very friendly and helpful. The seniors also, as I have seen in other courses, the seniors and juniors don't interact too much, but here I have so many friends with our seniors and they also help us a lot. So in total, I'm very grateful to have this course now.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are lot many interships available in our college, and we are having a WhatsApp group for us to grab all these internships . Till now I have not done any of them because of my studies but now in summer vacation, I am thinking of doing one as they are helpful in our CV too , so I ll try it and then again be giving the review .

Fees and Financial Aid

Umm actually to be honest I don't see all this but ya I want that our college should bring more scholarships, Internships so that students who want to enhance, they can. Like the and all I seems to be okay because my friends who are studying in other colleges while they are in DU or private college, as compared to them, my fees jis okay. So I m not having any doubt in this fees structure but just want more opportunities for scholarships and internships.

Campus Life

4

Talking about campus, I would say that its a nice as so many things happen in our south campus. Police also have arrived in our campus and it's I think common . I have explored the campus with my friends and it was so much nice that we enjoyed a lot . Our campus is having a special place SATYA NIKETAN which is happy place for all South campus students. As every student get there and enjoy, there are lots many cafes , clubs , restuarants from high to low , and lots of things. If talking about our college campus , it's also very nice becoz now we have all the things like earlier we don't have our basketball ground, stage, kabbadi ground, but now we are having all these and so many things have been improved in our college. It's improving day by day and giving us all our things which we require.

Admission

I have taken CUET exams to get admission to any DU college like every other student. I wanted to have admitted to that college which is near to my house but it is very far like it takes me, 1.5 hrs to reach the college. If I ll talk about cut, I am falling behind with I think 6 -7 numbers but because of the quota, I got admission to S. The CUET exams are easy but at the same time, I would say that they are tough too like it's if you'll study and do hard work it always pays off just like that simple.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty members are very much good in nature. They talk to us like our elders and give us some lessons. They give us a brilliant education and notes, the internals are also very much good and they help us in internals too which is very much good. If we interact with them and have some questions related to our subject, then we are freely to ask them and they solve them easily and they are very much friendly with us. But on the other side ,one thing I didn't like us that our classes get cancel and its like when we reach to the college we get that info that the class has been cancelled which is heart breaking literally because there are some students who come from far, just to take classes. So that's the negative point I would like to say about our faculty. And overall there are lots of positive points for our faculty and we are so grateful to have them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
