Campus Life is something no matter how much I write, it won't be enough college k samne vali bhelpuri se leke sudama ki chai, raat m yulu pr campus ka chakkar lagna, fest season ka wait krna, kamla nagar mein Hangout karna b
If we talk about the faculty, the chemistry department is the best all are very helping in nature and so much experienced.

Dislikes

During summer time and exam time, the library becomes so full that it becomes very difficult to get a seat.
In case of less than 67% attendance, undertaking form has to be signed and only then the stamp is put.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well my course is BSc physical science with chemistry in which we study physics chemistry maths talking about 2024 batch. Extra subjects have been included in the new batches. I opted for this course because I want to prepare for competitive exam and being from science background it was hard for me to change the stream so I decided to continue both bsc and state pcs preparation together which was not so good decision as I have to attend lab classes also 3 days in weeks bhut thaka dene vala schedule hogya tha . Exam: There are two semesters in a year, of 6 months each, so there are 6 semesters in three years, so exams have to be given 6 times.

I didn't opted for any internship but those who are interested can apply for summer and winter vice chancellor internship scheme which is of two months with stipend ?10500/ month only students who got their name in list after interview and resume submission got selected for internship

As i wrote earlier there is no oncampus placement for BSc courses because those who want to do higher studies or want to prepare for any exam opt for this course it is completely theoretical based course after higher studies like Msc they can get placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Well fees depends on colleges as well as courses mostly super affordable, for Science courses fees does not go above Rs 23000 excluding examination fees which is around 1100 for each semester. Talking about placement bsc doesn't have any scope in it but if one is doing eco honours pr Bcom from good colleges like Hindu, Srcc etc chances are quite good for on campus placement.

Campus Life

Best part about Du Life is FEST SEASON. Mecca is the most awaited and one of the biggest fest in North campus which is organised in April month of every year Library: Reference Books mentioned in subject syllabus and previous year question paper of some subjects are easily available in college library u can borrow any book for limited time for it u should have your Library card Sports: every college has their own team of football, cricket, basketball and inter college matches are organised every year in sports ground of different different colleges

Eligibility for my course: PCM in 12th class As I enrolled in 2021 at that time I got admission on the basis of 12th class marks so for me admission process was easy I just filled du application form under obc reservation and when cutoff lists were out in first list I got Hindu college

The role of teachers in college is to complete the syllabus on time and take internal test which all the teachers have been doing very well till now. From smallest doubt to career related questions, they answer very well.Sometimes I feel proud that I have had such chill teachers.It is very easy to interact with them except for one or two, they are very strict.

venky is one of the best college in south campus

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.

The things i liked in my college is the teching faculty provided. They have a good experience of teaching with mny research papers which have been published by them.
The second best thing is the college amenities like library and society. You will get every book required for you curriculum in the college library incuding few magzines too. The society will help you to develop other soft skills.
The most important part of college life are webinars where we interact with someone big professional like Dr. H. C. Verma sir who once visited in our college aur big faces too. Sports events, skills webinar, Cultural events makes the overall experien

Dislikes

A little bit old infrastructure can a point that is disliked by us and many students. As everyone wants to be a part of a new and good looking college
Lack of hostel facility in the college campus is a major issue. Specially for those students who are not able to accommodate in the Flats/PG due to thier financial status. But the new building will be available with all the facilities within few year

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

Admission in Hindu College means being in best of best in India. In 12th 90+ is mandatory for general category students and plus out of 800, 775 is also mandatory for getting Hindu College political science admission. Insight into DU college

We get admission in most of the college now through CUET exam which is held in May and based on your score in that exam and cutoff of colleges we get admission.My first preference was St.Stephan college but didn't got that it's cutoff was 698/800 while hindu college cutoff was 692/800 so I got Hindu college.Most prefered courses are BA Honors , Bcom that is why cutoff of these courses is high while science courses cutoff is less comparatively.In terms of colleges North Campus college such Stephan ,Hindu ,SRCC ,Hansraj ,Miranda have high cutoff as compared to South Campus colleges....Read More

Beginning of a new life- Hindu College

I choose this college as it got the NIRF rank 1 in 2024. The college is very diverse in terms of courses and students. The college has a campus area of around 25 acre. I have applied for the other colleges of north campus too but Hindu College was my first priority. I got it in the first round of common seat allocation system so I didn't need to bother to choose other colleges. I have to give cuet exam so that I can take admission in Delhi University. The eligibility for my course was to study mathematics till 12th class and the student who has given maths exam in cuet and 2 other subject and 1 language exam. Then the cutoff for this course comes in various colleges. College and course are allotted on the CSAS portal of Delhi University. "My Experience at Hindu College : A full review of Academic , Social , Campus life and beyond"

The reason why I chose my current college that's Hindu College is because firstly the hype around it for being No.1 which I feel it certainly lived upto and furthermore it has the best infra in entire DU , the curriculum the faculty , the fests , the interns and placements in each and every aspects it's the best which kind of makes it a go to mark furthermore , I decided for my course at the very beginning and thus only 2 colleges offered this for the boys that's HINDU college and VENKATESHWARA College , Venky is good but far away from my home consumes a lot of time and moreover Hindu is the best and something I've envied a lot furthermore there was no parameter which barred me from getting into other colleges as I had a very good score in CUET , furthermore the Admission process for all the DU college and my college is based on a exam named CUET , thus this exam decides ur fate , the exam is of 800 marks for BA hons and 550 not really sure for BsC , there are cutoffs for each college and for my college the cutoff was 765 for BA socio which u have to meet in order to get into the college after that ur documents are strictly verified by the college , also in case u submitted a reservation ccertificate and after that finally when it's approved by the principal u get to pay the fees and thus in this fashion u confirm ur seat in the college . so this is the entire admission process ......Read More
