Remarks

So I scored 93.75 in CLAT 2022. My all India rank was 376. CLAT is quite a popular entrance exam which people take to get into the best law colleges i.e. NLUs in India. I won't say it's a very difficult exam. It all depends upon your practice and consistency in studying GK.

Course Curriculum Overview

We had many assessments throughout a semester, but now it has been relaxed to 2 tests, one mid term and end term. CREs, intra ADRs, intra Moots and other competitions are of given the importance needed.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Trilegal, CAM, SAM, Sarvada legal, etc. These are mostly non paid internships. What projects and roles you are given is very subjective and depends upon each firm. These internships are although difficult to get as there's a lot of competition within the university and the positions are less if we compare.

Placement Experience

There's a special committee which takes care of internships and placements at NLUJ. we start getting internships through college since the third year. Some fourth years even get PPOs but that ofc depends upon your internship performance. In the fifth year, we organise day zero where a lot of firms including tier 1 and tier 2 come to college for the campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is taken per semester which is 1.5 lakhs. Total fee of one year at college is 3 lakhs approx. We do not have a mess system. It's more like a canteen where we pay and eat. However our mess committee might soon bring a reform in this aspect.

Campus Life

We have a cultural fest called NH65 and a sports fest called yuvardha which happens alternatively in each sem. We have active sports teams which participate in different sports fests. We also have cultural events organised in NLUJ. The cultural committee is responsible for such event.

Faculty

Highly professional and qualified faculty. We have mentors alloted in the first year. Also, teachers in each course stress a lot on co curricular ways of teaching like court room exercises, presentations etc.

A great place to Build a strong legal career

Teachers are very helpful and they help student a lot

Course Curriculum Overview:

The whose curriculum of the law department is quite relevant and comprehensive as it was both theoretical and practical aspects of legal education, subjects like Constitution of criminal law and family law played a major role in influencing my decision to choose this post as they provide a strong foundation for understanding the legal system. The curriculum is designed in a way that helps student develop, developed and critical thinking, legal reasoning and research skills which are essential for real world application as well as highest studies.

Likes

Classrooms of the college are very nice they have AC in every classroom
The corridors, washroom and everything in the building is kept clean
There are professional faculties provided by the college

Dislikes

There has been a lot of delay in examinations of the 1st semester

Placement Experience:

There is a seperate placement and internship committee set up for the students in which any semester student can come for the interview whenever the placement drive will be held. College provides internships sometimes too

Free and Fair

Likes

The library collection is what I like the most it consists of various books and of various authors
College organise various sessions like of manupatra,knimbus etc for more knowledge in students about the resources
The infrastructure is good we have our separate campus and a separate building and a well maintained moot court hall for all the events and competitions

Dislikes

The management can be improved here with efficiency in the internet portal of the college, less mistakes in the portal with correct information
Problem solving is very time taking as the process initiates but progress slowly
The college should provide attendance for the students going in moot and approval of the medical of the students suffering really instead of them getting debarred from exams

Placement Experience:

From 9/10 semesters the students become eligible for placements. Students are given some attendance relief for like 4/6 months to do their internships in best places around India. Companies like IBM, INFOSYS, AMAZON , Tech mahindra are some which offers placement with average 4 lpa, highest being 25lpa. 60% is the placement rate in ba llb. My plan after getting the degree is trying for judiciary and preparing for llm and phd.

Likes

The teaching method of teachers is very good
Our batch has an mentor who helps very nicely
They provide us a very good placement services

Dislikes

The campus is not that much large and good
They need to improve their unacademics of college
They need to improve in level of strictness because it is too much

The moot court practice helps in practice for students of 8th sem .They need to improve in extra curricular activities like sports and etc. Moot court practice is that curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course

The faculties are really professional and corporative
The college environment is really good for studies and other opportunities

Dislikes

The cafeteria is not too good the sittings are bad and there's no any airconditioner.
Only 1 annual fest is organised in the university oer year.

Placement Experience:

The placements are provided in our university and the package varies from 2.5lpa to 8lpa the placement depends on the academic records of the students better the scores better the apportunity. After getting the degree I will be going for corporate law firm.

The faculty of the college is well educated and qualified. they help students with academic as well as co. Curricular activities. the student-teacher ratio is 8:1. All the facilities members are experts in their subjects and they focus on practical aspects of knowledge rather than theory The course consists of the 10th semester and exams are conducted every 6 months each semester. the different level of the exam is medium.

NLU Jodhpur is among the finest institutes in India for learning law. Apart from my University, there are 18 other NLU's, for which one has to give CLAT (COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST). The admission process consists primarily only CLAT scores. The college is very renowned and have a name and fame. The college provides all the basic requirement which need to be there in the college.
