Campus vibes are really nice, places near north campus the markets are good
I like some of my teachers also as they r so knowledgeable
I like my college somewhere because development in sciences is good

Dislikes

I dislike the chain snatching phone snatching things around the campus
I hate the sec vac subject and some teacher look forward them as mains
I really hate that seminars also provide attendance to us

I think zoology as a subject does not help us to deal with real time problems thats why i cant say much about it, but yes i find this new education policy as a flop model i dont find it right to give 7 subjects to a person its not making our degree multidisciplinary but its making it a master of none kinda situation

Many ngo"s offer the internship . Whereas some tech companies also there . They offer good amount of stipend also.many roles for accountancy , in library etc are also offered . One mela has also took place in our college for these internships

Fees and Financial Aid

So i study in daulat ram college which is good college of north campus but fee is quite higher than other college for my course it is 36200 but yes in other colleges it would be around 18 k which is just half lf mine ,scholarships are available but not as much. I would say placements are quite low as these are not professional courses

Campus Life

Our college fest is named as manjari it is quite a good fest than other girls college .this time they called akhil. Our library is also good fully ac library in which course related books are available Classrooms are also good actually our labs are also equipped with good materials ifeel that the le tures theaters are nice as they provide us with smart classrooms also, then i like the ground present where all the events take place our college building is also good looking and aesthetically designed. There are many societies running throughout the year my college is having 32 society in which debating dancing, singing , sports various options are present. They had a head or the president which selects the students on their talents , overall campus life is good and filled with lots of joy , many days are bad also due to pressure of files and assingment , but yes after the end of the day we can enjoy this life here in delhi . Delhi also gives a good exposure to us , i am really thankful

Admission

The admission are through cuet exams now , application form are guven out by nta . After the exams cuet samarth portal is opened for us to choose college and course . Reserved candidates get approx relaxation of 50 marks from other candidates

I would say faculty for my department is really good, all the teachers are phd holders .they have good knowledge of the subjects , they take all the classess practicals very serioUsly they encourage us for various research program also

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Likes

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

Intro to DSEU

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

The faculty of this college is highly supportive. It is known for their approachable and helpful nature. They are dedicated to teaching. They create a positive environment for students. They guide the students very well and support them highly.
College has a calm and quiet environment. It is surrounded by greenery. It is located in rural area. It is away from noise of city. It helps students to focus on their studies in a stress-free environment. It provides students a peaceful learning.
College provides a good transportion. It is situated nearby a bus depot. The college has its own bus also. It makes easy for students to travel to and from the college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.

Likes

The things i liked in my college is the teching faculty provided. They have a good experience of teaching with mny research papers which have been published by them.
The second best thing is the college amenities like library and society. You will get every book required for you curriculum in the college library incuding few magzines too. The society will help you to develop other soft skills.
The most important part of college life are webinars where we interact with someone big professional like Dr. H. C. Verma sir who once visited in our college aur big faces too. Sports events, skills webinar, Cultural events makes the overall experien

Dislikes

A little bit old infrastructure can a point that is disliked by us and many students. As everyone wants to be a part of a new and good looking college
Lack of hostel facility in the college campus is a major issue. Specially for those students who are not able to accommodate in the Flats/PG due to thier financial status. But the new building will be available with all the facilities within few year

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

To be honest I only applied for Delhi University through CUET and I selected many colleges from DU like Miranda, Hansraj, Lady Shri Ram, Kirori Mal, many from the south and off campuses and in the first phase I got this college DRC and this course BA Programme English and History and I thought that this was an interesting course so that's why I chose this subject and college but if I could have upgraded my choices there was a chance that I could get seleced in other college but I chose to go with this option and some of my friends also got that college. I did not applieed for any other university/college except DU. To get to DRC college we have to attempt the CUET entrance exam from which we can get admission here by filling this college in your preference.For general category the cutoffs get so high for specifically north campus colleges, But as I belong to ST so that way it was a bit easier to get admission....Read More

This college is under the University of delhi and they have a totally different method of choosing their students as compared to other private colleges or universities. Here we apply to all the colleges under DU from our choice according to the course that we want to take. my awesome college drc

I got Institute of home economics Delhi in my first spot round but later upgraded and got this college, daulat ram. But since the previous college admission fees were too high and out of my preferred place i chose this present one. So far, i did not get rejecttfrom any other college i applied. review of daulat ram college from the lens of a psychology honours student

Daulat Ram College has one of the best faculties for psychology hence it was top three in my preference list. Very active in extra curricular activities along with an amazing faculty. other colleges above this were Lady Shri Ram college and Jesus and Mary college. i missed both those colleges by 20,25 marks. Lady Shri Ram is the best for psychology followed by a tie between JMC and DRC in my opinion. although JMC's western music society was my key interest and the location of the college which is chanakya puri made me put it in second....Read More
